It’s been a while since I’ve posted a deck, and I don’t want any deck I submit to too closely resemble the norms on the ladder. But I’ve been having fun with this new list, and I thought I would share the love. Not too many games so far (5-0 at Rank 3 as of now for those who are wondering).
This deck is the byproduct of a hypothesis I had on a long-forgotten minion: Inquisitor Kron. From what I could tell, Kron had fallen from grace. But I still believed it could have potential, and it was just a matter of how to help Kron get his groove back. So how could I bring what was considered by many to be the most powerful 5-drop in the game to its former glory? Well, as you can see, I added the long-lost cousin of the Vetruvian Imperium: Bastion.
Now, WHY am I running this minion? It actually has tremendous synergy with a lot of cards in the deck aside from being a structure (you’re home fellow structure…you’re home.) With your BBS alone, you suddenly have a body that can live a hit from the opposing general. When you combine Bastion with Shiro Puppydragon, you have a Build-Your-Own-Kinetic-Surge starter pack (maybe I’ll try this with Kara for funsies). And the minion of study (Kron) has been unbelievably more powerful for me when Bastion is around. Kron’s health goes from 4 to 5 which is HUGE for living hits from Makantor and Holy Immolation, or even General + Falcius or General + Warbird if Hearth Sister was used. But it gets better, because the prisoners also reach a new threshold by having 3 health and living a general attack. And the more durable Kron is, the more prisoners that can be produced.
From my experience, the experiment has been a success! (at least thus far. I’ll keep playing with this deck more. I’m having fun anyway.
) Always feel free to leave thoughts in the comments, and let’s continue to bring honor to the sands of time!

I would replace a Nimbus for a Star’s Fury however, as I can’t see a list with fireblaze not running at least one Fury.
