lol ive been testing various versions… im not one to be running loads of two drops as late games i find myself top decking while opponent has 5 cards in hand
Ziran too weak for meta
I’m doing something similar but I cut sunriser and run afterblaze in its place because it has good synergy with divine bond and card cycling
i had to the try hards on ladder is real man lol
i cut afterblaze completely… in this meta they have answers for EVERYTHAAANG nomatter what i throw at them its instantly removed n saberspine tigers uuuuggggh!!!
i had a game once the guy had 0 card in hand i double afterblaze on silverguard knight to hit face had one more turn for lethal the guy replaced and got shroud auto killing the knight my hopes and dreams were crushed
That is what the professional calls ‘overcommitment’
true but some games u gotta put everything on the line because you are so close to dying
have you tried solarius and spelljammer? they work wonders in my deck.
for some reason the landscape mode doesn’t work

i originally made it as a half-bond, half-heal budget deck though the only good bond target is ironcliffe or something with afterblaze
after a bit of tweaking it ended up with a suprising amount of 2x, reducing its reliability (a trend in the way i make decks)
it tends to run out of steam late game if you cant get a zeal-afterblaze or lkian
my winrate at about 50% not great, but not that bad
I usually use it in combo with divine bond on a silverguard knight because with divine bond afterblaze basically reads give minion +6/+4
using one solarius dusted spelljammers never really liked it plus opponent normally uses it
Sad thing is that after the expansion, Argeon will still be better at Heal decks
Hopefully some of the unseen cards will change that. …
oh that kind of lyonar…ye i guess that can work once u have the pressure to drop combo for game…but i mean stormblades zir sky phalanx sigh they just cant see play
I’ve actually found reworked spelljammer to be incredible because of its 5 health stat in divine bond using decks, plus I find my opponent rarely clearing or even hitting spelljammer so i find it to be a reliable buff target
Kevin, I have been using a Ziran deck with okay results in diamond (and S-rank in the past 2 seasons) that has maybe like a 50ish winrate, but I feel your pain. I haven’t had quite your level of losing streak, but it is hard to make a Ziran deck that feels like you have the edge against other decks.
Anyway, do not despair too hard, as certainly the expansion will help Ziran a bit. Even if Argeon ends up stronger in the end like some predict, Ziran should be at least a bit easier to ladder with in a few hours once the new cards arrive
This. Spelljammer is great in Argeon (and I guess also Ziran?) ever since they changed his stats.
I played healyonar at diamond rank 2 using sun sister sterope ,with success last season so I think my deck is fine, the concern is just how much more effort it takes to play the healyonar archetype with success by comparison to tempo or aggro with argeon. I know that kaleos decks and starhorn decks are experiencing similar problems.
well that was 2 days ago that was fine its just from yesterday until today alot of try hards on ladder try play some games today n feel my pain lol
Well, the expansion is coming today (any minute now), so any point made about meta is a bit… not really pertinent?
havent seen any game changing ziran cards besides the one that heal general ye you can heal opponent minion but why would you wanna. i guess trinity oath might give us a push
