The issue is that I play Vanar main, but also try to get the Abyssian and Magmar generals unlocked. Right now S-Rank is CROWDED with the new Songhai general with either Mantra or Eight Gates lists. I’d like to know your felt winrates against these decks. Besides Vanar with shroud I have a lousy winrate as those new decks give nearly no form of interaction. My biggest issue are 3 of the BBS spells: General moves an additional space, teleport enemy minion, draw an extra card. Combined with the board control options you lose a lot of damage on the enemy general which you normally had in combat. Then the combo kills you from 20 life. This is only anecdotal evidence… but I really want to hear more from the side of the Songhai players… Have your winrates improved? Please share your thoughts!
Who else is bored by the new Songhai General Matchups?
If it’s really crowded with Mantra/8g only, just build a deck accordingly, teched with ProphetOtWPalm, Magesworn, Archon SpellBinder etc and start farming

Ok I got more answers… an early Juggernaut (turn 3 as second player) really messes with the removal suite they have. If you can pull an Onyx Bear Seal you got a really good chance that your Jugg gets out of control.
Being fair, a early Jug messes with most things.
I think I’ve only lost once to an S ranked Shidai player, out of maybe 5 games? They had god hand, so there’s no beating Songhai when that happens anyways. I don’t think people have built very good decks for her yet, but she clearly has potential. I’ve been enjoying the change in scenery 
I got swarmed by people trying to get Shidai yesterday, by playing Kaleos (for some reason instead of Reva). Only had one loss out of the couple of games I played with Blood Rage quillbeast Starhorn. Feels okay playing against people who don’t know how to play Hai and those who decide to ignore quillbeasts. Haven’t played against Shidai, though.
I beat Shidai in diamond yesterday. It was close tho.
I personally am going to be using her as my bangle backstab combo general. Before the new generals, I used kaleos since a few of the minions like ki beholders and kaido’s like to be positioned well. but shidai just offers so much more.
