Which do you think is the best card of each faction?

Now, for actual factions:

Lyonar: Radiant Standard - this goes to show i’m not so much a man of actual power, but of flavor. Standard, alongside other positional artifacts, goes to show at its best Lyonar’s theme of the warlord that guides by example, inspiring soldiers to follow by heading first

Songhai: tie between Penumbraxx and 2ndSrd Sarugi. One epitomes the spirit of backstab, the other shows, at least me, what spellhai should be instead of multipink galore.

]Abyssian: R0t9M: the right amount of threat and punishment.

Vetruvian: Thunderclap, tied to Spinecleaver.

Magmar: Wanderer Saurian Finality. It was neutered, yes, but boy it speaks what is to be a kaijuu.

Vanar: Disciple of Yggdra.

Songhai: Juxtaposition
Vetruvian: Blood of Air
Abyssian: Furor Chackram
Magmar: Makantor Warbeast
Vanar: Malicious Wisp
Neutral: Bloodtear Alchemist

There are many many ways to evaluate what’s “best”. I go by what I think are some of the more “powerful” ones here:

Lyonar: Titan
Songhai: Abjudicator Juxta
Magmar: K lol it’s still always Skillbeast
Vet: Dreamshaper
Abyss: Soul Grimwar
Vanar: SotW
Neutral: Emp

I actually fear the moment when CPG produces anything that could compete with Makantor for the best Magmar card position…

Imho:

Lyonar->Trinity oath (best draw card in the game)
Songhai->phoenix fire (removal and burn in one card)
Vetruvian->blood of air (similar to pf but different)
Magmar->makantor (no reasons needed here)
Abyssian->lure (board manipulation and ping)
Vanar->malicious wisp (ramp and sabotage)

Those cards can be put in any deck of their factions and perform great.

Going to try and pick some of the cards that are less autoinclude in every deck but still strong
Lyonar: Cleric-1 mana 1/3 that generates a Hallowed Ground tile is very good, stat wise and effect wise
Vetruvian: Wasteland Wraith - Sure you opponent can see it coming, but it does clear your enemy’s board for 4. Worst case it eats removal that could have gone to your better minions
Abyssian: Cadence - Throwing a big guy at your enemy to OHK them is pretty cool. Also good because sometimes peiple don’t remove big guys if they’re on the otjer end of the board and seemingly not a threat.
Mamar: Beastclad Hunter-Pretty sad that such an interesting card sees little to no play simply because Magmar’s cards are so strong. If this was in anyother class I’m certain it would see more usage.
Vanar: Draugar Lord-A card that is just a bit too slow to play. Still a good body that makes a good body on death. Even has the Vespyr tag for synergy.

Abyssian - Betrayal??? It’s certainly awesome in gauntlet which is the only time I play Abyss.
Lyonar - Holy Immo, but Oath and Ironcliffe are really, REALLY close
Magmar - Ragnora, but if generals aren’t a choice then Makantor
Neutral - uuuuhhh… Crypto? Very hard choice
Songhai - Killing Edge
Vanar - Hailstone Prison
Vetruvian - Reader, not even a question

I have played Reliq Nemeton. Unfortunately my Vanar card collection is lacking and I suck at piloting the deck.

Vetruvian- Sandswirl REEEEEE
Abyssian- Sarlaac. Wait this ISN’T abyssian? Ok, Shadowdancer.
Magmar- Makantor Jesus
Vanar- ̶S̶t̶u̶p̶i̶d̶ Malicious Wisp
Neutral- ̶S̶e̶r̶p̶e̶n̶t̶i̶ Bloodtear Alchemist

Okay people, enlighten me. I dont feel like bouncing Shadowdancer, Lavaslasher, Makantor, or many other on-field or opening gambit minions. It does leave the 3/3 body, which I recognize is pretty good, but I dont want a Swirl all the time, whereas BoA fits more broadly. What am I missing here

Because of the fact most Vetruvian removal is bad, blood of air becomes a valuable card. What sandswirl reader does is acts as a pseudo removal effective at ‘removing’ large units such as a swarmking scarab, mythron wanderer, nimbus, aymara healer, bonereaper, EMP (situational), kron, eclipse, war exorcist. This saves BoA for more important enemies.It also produces a sand tile that can generate value instantly if you play reader late. To sum it up, he’s a tempo breaker and pseudo removal for when you need to hold on to blood of air.
