Which do you think is more beautiful?

I’m pretty sure that we all have a moment before we go into the shitstorm that is ladder where we just stop and appreciate the beauty that is the menu screen. The classic obsidian woods with it’s familiar yet breathtaking views, the ember highlands that invoke an indescribable wonderlust/thirst for adventure, and the frostfire with the subdued colors hinting at some of the lore we have yet to discover. We’ve had our moments, what I want to know is which of those is the one you most appreciate :heart_eyes:!

  • Frostfire Festival

P.S: I don’t include the other, previously available screens due to my lack of experience with them (there was that one with the dragon that was obviously Songhai based). If any one has access to them (through a list, link, or simply name) I’d greatly appreciate if you could post them down below :blush:! Thanks!

Edit 11/1/2018: Dammnit, the dang forums are messin with my polls again. SIGH, I think the previous order was Frostfire, Ember, then Obsidian (woot, woot ryvs fav back then!) so at least we have that to go off of. Is this it though? Is it the fate of all polls to eventually be bamboozeled by the forum errors? Is this what it has come to?

The art in this game is absolutely amazing. Pixel art, and the more detailed art as well both completely blow me away.

I miss the beta background, specifically the one with the huge floating rock and the animated birds. That one will always be my favorite.

All of them have become my wallpaper. And that’s saying something for somebody who left his default window wallpaper since forever :smiley:
The scope, panoramic view, and call to adventure is really prominent in the design. Quite similar to some of the best Prince of Persia level.

Now I want an open world games with Duelyst setting… sigh :frowning:

Obsidian woods is definitely my personal favorite, and speaking of backgrounds its about time to switch out the forums background again pretty soon

Maybe! I am actually not sure how to make it work on mobile, I will have to look into it.
