Weekly Card Buff Thread #1

Hello everyone! I wanted to make a thread to discuss possible buffs, tweaks, or synergies that could improve currently mediocre/forgettable cards.

Each week a single card will be discussed and community members will put forth ideas for tweaks to the card text or stat line or new cards that synergize will the card in question. It is important to discuss whether or not the card really needs a buff as well and what kind of decks it should fit into.

For the first week, we will be discussing:

Sand Burrower
3-Mana
2 Attack/4 Health
Whenever this minion survives damage, it returns to your action bar.

Gosh makes me remember that lol
With that said I think it’s impossible to rework it like that cause it’s gonna make meme deck viable.

I just made a deck with this as the prime proccer of Exhuming Sands, so I have a renewable cheapish minion to get those spawns.

I only have 12 units in the deck and for the rest of it it’s artifacts and spells (and Sajj).

Haven’t really tested it yet, so who knows how Sand Burrower will turn out :stuck_out_tongue:

Sand Burrower
4 mana minion
4/3
At the end of your turn, Transform this minion into a suspicious burrow

Suspicious burrow
Tile
At the start of your turn, if this tile is unoccupied, transform this tile into Sand Burrower

This seems more in flavour with the name

Edit: Clarification of wording.

That means the sand burrower heals itself to full each turn, right?
Feels like Sunsteel Guardian for some reason, but cannot be removed by minion removals-desu.

2 mana artifact
tactics manual
whenever a friendly minion is returned to your action bar, it costs 0 mana

But you can just play something on the tile and let the tile just sit there doing nothing :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought it’d devour any minion on it-desu.
The wording isn’t clear enough for anyone to understand how the tile exactly works on that regard.

This. This right here is great. If something’s on top of the tile, would you have it die, or would you have the burrower not unburrow?

And also I love the name suspicious burrow.
