We don’t know what’s between the individual parts of atoms, but since they have an electrical field, that would be something not nothing, as nothing requires nothing to exist.
On your other one, we haven’t observed nothing. So as far as we currently know, nothing is just a theoretical concept. That doesn’t mean it does or doesn’t exist though.
Nothing is a very impractical concept in language.

I’d say it’s the concept because the whole concept of nothing is no thing as in the lack of something. We quantify nothing as there being no something. Therefore technically, it’s a concept and not even an independent one as it’s reliant on the concept of something/everything.

I am enjoying this spurt of existential quandary.
The only thing I can offer is we, as conscious beings, exist. Our ability to describe our surroundings with language or gestures, exists. We have created a word, nothing, to define the absence of anything, and by extension, everything. The word, as presented in English, exists as a concept we can (or hope to) understand. The concept of nothing, even in other languages, exists more or less. Nothingness exists as a concept, so I would say the absence of everything is something.

However, “everything” is binary. It either is everything or it is not. If “nothing” is not part of everything then it is not everything.

But since nothing does not exist, it would not fall under everything, as nothing itself is not a thing, it is a lack of a thing, a lack of existence. Therefore if we define everything as encompassing all that exists, nothing is not part of everything. Therefore nothing can exist outside of everything, and vice-versa.
There is a binary within the concept of everything and nothing, as they are defined in relation to each other (If there was no everything, then nothing would not need a to be defined, it just would be).
Also @kelvindagr8 I’m not trying to convince people we do not exist. In fact on some level we have to exist, as our ability to feel and think requires us to exist. (Whether or not that existence is simply within that of a computer simulation, and our fates have no bearing on anything in the “real” world, is another question entirely)
