Vanar has access to a ton of low-mana common and basic removal cards that provide you with excellent tempo. Combine this with Faie’s Bloodborne Spell and you can easily see why Vanar is currently the #1 faction in Gauntlet. It’s easy to consistently draft a good or great deck with Vanar whereas, with other factions, sometimes you just don’t get the answers or the reach you need to close out the game.
Here’s a draft + final games of a 12-0 run with Faie in which I only got 5 rares (one was Blazing Spines) and 2 Epics (one was Aspect of the Drake which I never played)
