Man, I can’t wait to see what that big ass hydra does, probably a strong lategame minion with regenerate or it splits into smaller hyrda or something!

Elder was pretty rare because of the fast pace of the game beforehand, so you aren’t a traitor; just a person who joined a winning team…
Such a waste of an awesome sprite…
I initially felt the same. Really wanted the card to be this big ass pet that just shits on everything. But Rawr ended up being that card instead and I actually like it even more. It looks better imo and has a better effect than Hydrax. Not to say how Hydras is garbage though, every card that has something to do with draw has potential to be broken.
too bad theres no egg to hatch
Forget the game’s actual issues.
Since the patch support’s been scrambling.
The person I’m talking with right now is jumping to answers before reading/checking in to my problem.
I suppose it’s to be expected that mistakes get made since they’re probably being swarmed but meh.
When money’s involved I don’t think it should be so spotty.
Generally speaking, I love to whine. I LOVE IT. But, about all this, let’s not just “hate” too much. The devs that did the balance probably thought it was for the best. I complained about Magmar nerfs. Thinking about it, it just means we’re going to have to change our gameplay. The meta NEEDS to change, or the game is going to become stale and boring. Nerfing and buffing will ALWAYS seem unfair but the efforts here are made to tweak the balance so the game is ever changing, OP cards becoming less OP, buffed cards, it’s all to make a new meta. The only thing I’ll call bad here is the lack of Starhorn support. Maybe the other cards are not what we all expected either. But, all those effort are made to make the game a more dynamic experience where we all have to adapt to the changes. Anyway, thhat’s my PoV, feel free to just sh*t on it.
in case no one else responeded, soulburns are 0/4 sturctures with summon dervish that destroy any minion that damages it. spinecleaver summons totems for your OPPONENT that are 0/4 and deal one damage to their general every turn
When I started building the magmar deck I expected to have big minions , raw power. But now Kara seems to be better at this when the Vanar theme is not really that. You place an 7 mana slithar elder 6/6 she places a 5 mana with BBS 12/6 artic displacer or something similar and with the 2 remaining returns the elder to your hand .
*Vanar
DROP RATE !!
Eh, not comparable. Your Elder still left an egg behind, which hatches into another Elder. Trades into the displacer and turns back into an egg. You can then play your Elder again, leaving another egg.
I really dont think anyone would leave an elder egg alive. And there are many, many ways to do 1 dmg.
Hydrax doesn’t have frenzy, as a Heroes of Might and Magic player I find this outrageous.
My apprentice, that is not treason. We call that… Redemption.
All the whining about cards being OP seems a bit premature, what with the expansion only being released yesterday. However, I do have some small nit-picks to bring up.
1) The Spell Animations
With a few exceptions, all of the new spells either have reused or minimal animation. Perhaps, Counterplay decided to patch spell animations in later so that the expansion can be released earlier, but it feels kind of weird dropping an 8 mana spell and seeing the same animation as a 2 mana one. Again, this is probably done so that the expansion can launch sooner, so we’ll have to wait and see.
2) The Hidden Information
This is a bit of a formating suggestion. Cards that summon Tokens should probably tell you what tokens they summon. It seems a bit hard to keep track of all the tokens as the number of cards grows. The most confusing instance of this are the “random ability” effects. Pandora, Grailmaster, Kron, and Elkowl all use this phrase in their description, so you would think that they draw from the same pool of keywords. Nope. There are three pools of random keywords, with Kron and Elkowl having their own individual pools. This can be immensely confusing even to experienced players.
3) The Nit-Picks about Art
Some specific units come to mind. For instance, Rex is seen as a formidable Theropod, with a stocky build like a T-rex. Instead, Rex looks quite underfed, lacking the muscles in his art. Rae is even more different. In the concept art, Rae is seen as a vast serpent with a skull as a face looming over the other battle pets, rivaling even Hydrax in size. However, the actual unit is a puny worm that coughs on enemies to attack. I know that this is severely picky, but things like this just make me laugh.
Yeah I remember getting hyped about Rex art. It turns out to be a 3/1 battle pet. Time to take the artwork with a truckload of salt.
I dusted my Veterans, too.
Yep. The Battle Pet mechanic is seriously making me consider quitting.
PLEASE NERF THIS!

I can not stand it lose the Cassyva !!! :,(
