At least that happened in the past too.
Can’t talk about the diamond queues though because I never had times like that. Numbers in higher divisions are not growing though I think.
Unfair matchmaking
I was not aware that in the past silver players were matched against s-1.
But I can confirm for sure that queue times in the upper ladder are much longer then they used to be.
I’ve matched against Scientist when he was S1 and I was still in gold.
And this was back in 2016
That “this didn’t used to happen” is rubbish.
I recall hearing of you and other players in gold fighting s-1 in the past, what I don’t recall is any silver players claiming to have the same happen to them.
I’m not quite sure what the fixation on first seed is given that S rankers have absolutely queued into silver ranked players multiple times over, especially when S rank population is fairly sparse this time of the month.
I have played vs S as silver.
Recently or in the past (1 year+ ago)?
I often saw posts about being in silver and playing against s-rank.
Within the pat year. (maybe year +2 months)
Thanks for giving me another name for the ribbon watch
I used to be in S8 and I still lost to gold players all the time.
