It’s a nice tool, but I’m not scared of it. It’s worth noting however, this obelysk is a good tool for forcing your opponent to advance if they need to get rid of it.
Ultimately, it’s useful but not broken.
If you drop it turn 1, you have little to fear from a minion removing it, so why not just place it forward? By the time they use the resources to destroy it, you’re building your board. Good tempo when used aggressively.
Not necessarily. Having this out does not stop your opponent from building board advantage. If you play it forward the only benefit you’ll get is dervishes that can see action. Your opponent has the option of playing minions in other rows and advancing into it on their terms, without the need of burning card advantage to remove it.
I feel this card will perform a lot better as long term board control. Put it in the back, out of reach, and let it serve as denial to your opponent. If you put it forward, it’ll be too easy to remove since it only has 4 hp and is immobile.

But if they’re so busy taking care of this turn one, how will they stop the trygon obelysk when you send your dervish to the mana tile next turn?

Did the devs say that Lavastorm Obelysk can not be spawned from Allomancer? I heard that only Trygon so far would not be spawned from Allomancer.

Its gressly overpowered… at end of turn mean you can cast that and cause damage imediatly, and is a cost 2 for an rare card. Really exagerated. Could be 2 damage maybe, or a legendary card. But nothing in the math matches. You can start the game causing massive cleaning damage on your first turn than cast another on second turn cleasing anything the oponent cast on early game while still on the curve for development. Instant meta. I Would like to see than keeping the game balance and feets on the ground rather than making more cards with “wow” effect like lavaslahser or this freak in a insane army race. that tendency for arm race in updates is what killed MTG
You misread, its at the start of your turn. Very easy to play around, comparable to Vanar’s Glacial Fissure/Warbird
