This card does have potential, imo. 2 for a 1/1 forcefield frenzy minion is value packed. I can easily see turn two and beyond, and if it does it is a prime target for buffing. Alone it isn’t dangerous. If it’s used in a deck designed to make the most of it, you’ll see good results.
I don’t see it being anything super awesome or necessary, but it will have its place somewhere in some decks. That’s good enough.

It would be really hard to use this and Natural Selection in the same deck, and I don’t see it being meta.
But with baby-daddy Makantor as my witness, I PROMISE there will be Warpup memes to be had!

This minion is interesting. A 2 mana 1/1 forcefield isnt that great alone. Magmar doesnt have a way to use the frenzy very well. Often times, this minion pretty much has 3 health and that is extremely easy to kill. Where this minion shines, is in decks that are using the new Primal Flourish tiles. If it becomes a 3/3 with frenzy forcefield it is really, really good. Greater fortitude can also do this. However, it’s not good enough to run over Young Silithar, Gro or even Rancour in standard Magmar lists. Very interesting card that you will have to really think about when building a deck.

Hey, another 2 drop for flood Magmar amiright? But in seriousness, the forcefield keyword is really helpful to keep it alive while using frenzy, and can be even better with the new flourish tiles and other Magmar buffs. Really looking forward to see how this one plays out!
Mixed with grow and Moloki, this baby’ll turn into a power house real quick (primal flourish + moloki makes it a 3/3 forcefield minion with a potential for 5/5 forcefield frenzy if unanswered)
Is there a scared option?
I believe that would be Nay. Though I don’t know how you could be scared of a pupper like this.

Relax, Lyonar cards will be shown im sure. Besides, Lyonar is hardly bottom of the meta, they do just fine.
In regards to the card, I love it. Great art, balance, and gives incentive to sideboard Natural Selection and stack more buffs, although it’ll need more support to be viable. Nat Select is too much of a crutch.
just wait, soon we’ll have the mandatory 10/10 lyonar provoke revealed and no one will ever use it. it’s gonna be soooo leet!

My thoughts
Zoo Starhorn is looking real interesting right now Sinister Silhouette,War Pup, Young Silthar that’s three minions who are pretty sticky and buff make them kinda threat.
Speaking of buffs God hammer,Greater fort, Razor skin, Primordial gazer,Endure the beastlands and Omniseer and in pinch Thumping Wave and Kinetic Equilibrium as well.Magmar has quite bit of buffs now and lot of them work with Magesworn being on the board.
I think this will be usable but not be a meta choice because they are better minions but with Omniseer and Greater Fortitude i am sure if you want to you can play this minion.
It can be a nice inclusion in the right deck, which is what most of the well designed cards should be

I don’t think Lynor can ever be bad because of Tempo Lynor. They’re not top tier right now because they struggle with Midrange Magmar and I think people are just burnt out of them always being the top dog. They’re most definitely not in a bad place, it’s just that the meta doesn’t really favor them.
You’re getting upset for no reason.
As far as I can figure there are three spoiler schedules:
2 cards par faction every day so far. (we’ve had 2 neutrals, 2 Magmar, 2 Vetruvian, etc…).
Most of these are to highlight new abilities and mechanics (tiles per faction and neutrals with interesting effects)
There’s no reason to think they won’t be releasing more spoilers in order. So Lyonar and songhai and vanar, etc… will be next up. Look for two more faction cards tonight.
Then there’s the single cards, they do one of these per day, Warpup and Flamewreath among them. These are random.
Then there’s the streamer spoilers, another card every 2(?) days that a streamer gets to show off.
They just haven’t gotten around to all the factions yet, so calm yourself. Wait until they show off some Lyonar cards before you start panicking. One of them had to go first and second and one of them has to go last before the carousel spins around to the beginning again.
Well considering the fact that Lyonar was given priority last expansion I think it’s fair.
