(also, I hate Rizen so this was double satisfying).

Because Atheistmantis plays almost solely Vet, which just happens to be the only faction who Rizen can auto win against.

Vet really only has a lucky bone swarm and BoA for rizen. Against Magmar BoA is saved for crucial moments and bone swarm isn’t always guaranteed.

Well TBF, Vet also has Kinematic Projection (although that requires an active minion already on the board) and Wildfire Ankh. Although neither of those cards see very much play they at least give Vet a theoretical way to deal with Rizen.
But if you had one or two obelysks deployed when they play Rizen you are just screwed.
