This really depends on where you live, but buy a $5 pack of dinosaurs at the dollar store (or just find some small things around the house that you don’t need) and go geocaching!
It’s a great activity that encourages you to go outside, and it’s mostly free, since you can keep exchanging your finds.
Unfortunately, it might be pretty snowy this time of year, which can make certain geocaches a lot more dangerous.
Another long term project that could be neat is to try to read one non-school, non-work book every 6 months. Sure, it might sound easy, but that’s the whole point; it’s so achievable that you won’t feel like giving up.
Card /Coin tricks can also be pretty neat to pick up, and they’re great at parties.
If you want some generic ones, then maybe cooking / baking or going to the gym?
I would recommend fishkeeping, but all he good stuff (saltwater, cichlids, planted tanks) are super expensive.

I just think it’s fun to have my opponent think they’re winning all game, then they just see “you die in 3 turns”
Then they burst through lots of heals or lose

As I’m sitting here with half the Saga of the Seven Suns, three Dune books, the Hobbit, the Wastelands, and a book on H.P. Lovecraft’s long-term influence on pop-culture, I can tell you reading is pretty fun.
I’d also recommend checking out r/HFY’s (humanity, fuck yeah) subreddit. They have a lot of good writing there. My personal favorite is When Deathworlders Meet.
