Fair enough. The only good things I can say about it: the main character’s reaction to the gruesome things that happen is pretty good and it’s great at ending episodes with cliffhangers. Otherwise, it’d be really nice if anyone in that stupid show could act like believable, rational human beings. Not a one of them does. Also, that show had so many loose ends it isn’t funny.

Attack on Titan has some damned good action scenes, though there’s no time for love in that show; it’s rather horrifying.
Soul Eater, while short, also has some really cool action (and its quirky as all heck to boot).
Can heartily agree that ‘your name.’ is a good anime movie for tugging the heartstrings. Experienced that first-hand.

Yeah, it’s more the “adventurous shonen feel” that they have in common, the battles are quite different. Anyway HxH wrecks any other adventure shonen that I’ve seen in terms of quality
