Im pretty sure i could get to S if i had more time and didnt have like 5 friends wanting to play 3 or 4 different games together with me
The secret to S-rank
WTF they are not better than hunt, infact they all do completely different things.
Blazehound: Alright card but you’re opponent draws a card, nor does it manage your hand like hunt.
Thunderhorn: Hearthsister isn’t a strong enough synergy to warrant playing it.
Replicants: Same point as Blazehound.
These are all far worse than hunt and I have never actually remembered you playing Vanar so I don’t even know if you know how strong hunt is.
exactly. unlike endless hunt these cards aren’t a waste of mana
Most likely already played. If not, I hope you draw into an Endless Hunt.
False, better ingredients do not necessarily surmount to better pizza.
Does not generate any card advantage. The same argument can be made for every single minion in Duelyst that costs 4 or above.
Also most likely already played.
+1 card advantage every single time it’s played. Definitely great in late-game, but solid all around.
Guys, just give it a try! Nothing to lose other than 200 spirit!
Hunt is rarely a waste of mana, it’s worth about 4 mana and is crazy powerful in the lategame, which is Vanar’s selling point.
okay but you’re playing it in a burn deck. that’s not really a lategame deck.
You will be surprised, most of my wins are by slowly grinding my opponent down and then finishing them with a large push and Hunt helps bridge that gap.
i wouldn’t be surprised. but i also wouldn’t be surprised to see your winrate shoot up if you replace it with something else.
My Vanar deck is late-game! Its win-cons are Seraphim, EMP, but most notably Conjurer, which has gotten a lot more consistent thanks to Endless Hunt.
Fine! I’m going to play some Vanar matches right now. When I’m done, I’m going to tell you all about how my Endless Hunts were great help.
I forgot how to win with Vanar so my winrate dropped off the Face of the earth but it had a really good winrate when Brome was at his peak.
just play some other cycles and then play some spirit of the wild man
i’d play that if i still had seraphim but i dusted them already.
seeee you’re better off turning that into a blaze hound. sure hunt will be =okay= when you have ramp. but if u don’t play ramp beforehand, and u play some hunt, yer frikkened.
this is blaze hound

it’s ol’ reliable.
and this is endless hunt

it’ll work, but there’s just so much room for backfire.
Blazehound is not a control card, it’s counter intuitive to your strategy.
it’s cycle. like hunt. which is there. if it’s supposed to be there, idk. but if it’s gonna be there, it might as well be another card that cycles. one with better stats.
and come on, let’s be honest here how many times will a person play blaze hound in a game? like, 1-2 times. any more is counterproductive. so blaze hound. alcuin. anything. just… not hunt.
How many times would a person play hunt in a game? A lot.
boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Do people forget the replace mechanic exists?
