S isnt that challenging, just incredible tedious
I know what im talking about…once i reached S1 becauuse i went though that tediousness and played 2 days through at season start with very little pause(who needs sleep lol).I finaly learned that S is not worth the effort
The secret to S-rank

Yes, I have yet to hit it but I have little time to do so over the past while and I focused on gauntlet.
My goals aren’t high at all. If I hit gold, that’s pretty good.
mecha lilithe man. you have to try it. once you have chakram you can drop metaltooth aka 2 mana makantor. best silver climber deck ever.
Why the endless hunts?
It’s an endless source of minions and it’s a card you can always play.
the value is so little tho! you’re better off with other minion engines unless you’re snowballing with owlbeast.
and sure you can spam it if you have enough malicious wisps gainz, but wouldn’t you rather summon an embla/seraphim/whatever with that mana?
I’m running 2 Endless Hunts at the moment and is enjoying them just fine. It guarantees Conjurer procs every turn, or I can just replace a copy when in doubt. Vanar doesn’t really have a solid draw engine other than Circulus, so even one Endless Hunt cycling once every turn is a great advantage in my opinion. Besides, a 3/3 isn’t too bad either.
Maybe in an arcanyst list it gives some value but 4 mana 3/3 in the burn list seems meh. Feel something like concealing shroud is a lot better.
met an alcuin + shroud player. the fucking headache. delayed like 4 turns of lethal. the fool played ilena tho so i still won and he just stalled until his inevitable death.
moral of the story: shroud is op now, but it’s useless if you play something like ilena.
I’m calling it. Yain’t gonna get S with that deck unless you modify it.
In my personal opinion, the 3/3 isn’t the biggest takeaway. The card is extremely versatile in a sense where it virtually does two things at once: summon a minion, and activate a spell. Both are useful, the former for tempo and the latter for Arcanysts, or Blue Conjurer specifically.
To elaborate, try imagining a late-game scenario where you are outplayed and have no cards in your hand. This probably won’t happen when you run a few copies of Endless Hunt. You’ll always have something to do, you’ll always be able to generate at least some value even in the most desperate scenarios.
that’s the thing. flygon ain’t running either. i bet he’s just gonna try to go for 8 mana with malicious ramp and double hunt later on to rebuild his hand. i’ve seen it, it’s not gonna work, and if it did, it’s not to endless hunt’s credit.
Flygon always runs Endless Hunt.
Yes and it is always incorrect to not run it.
Misunderstood question, sorry. Then he’s running it for the endless 3/3 spawns.
At that point with that deck I dont think summoning 2 3/3s every turn is going to make you win. Some more burn/survival related stuff seems better for the extra reach.
But that’s the point. When Vanar players are on the verge of defeat, they probably won’t have the burn cards in their hands; that’s why they’re losing. A copy of Endless Hunt is infinitely better than nothing! Also, I assume by survival cards, you mean Shroud or Corona, but I don’t think those are going to do much in the situation either.
Besides, that example is only one of many examples of why the card is useful. It may not seem immediately powerful at first glance, but you’ll really start to understand how strong it is when you start running it and get used to its mechanic. It’s kind of like getting to have your cake and eat it too if you know what I mean. Either way, it’s worth the spirit and would definitely recommend running a copy or two.
list of things better than endless hunt:
-blaze hound: better stats, same draw if you play hunt only once.
-pepperoni pizza from papa johns
-a thunderhorn
-replicunts even streamlines your deck.
admit it. unless you’re trying to get some synergy out there, endless hunt is wack.
