The only way to make money at those buffets is to go straight for the seafood, or the beef with more “A”s than an Asian kid’s report card.
Problem is, I’m allergic to lobster as well as vegetarian. At least I can have a few oysters and mussels.
On that topic, being a vegetarian at a hot pot place is amazing though. Everyone else orders too much vegetables just to make them look healthy to the waiters or surrounding tables, and end up getting full on meat, so they end up paying for a ton of food for me

I used to do that.
Then a friend made me realize that you get more of your money’s worth by draining their supply of expensive food (I.e. Lobster and sashimi)
