Sorry if it is a bit incomprehensible.
I try to make my writings more concise and less verbose like George orwell urges in his awesome essay, politics and the english language but I still have a ways to go
In short, what I am trying to get at here is that morality cannot be objectively judged, as it is a creation of wholly subjective nature.
I also am trying to emphasize that every human decision is rooted in a desire for self fulfillment in some way. Whether to rid oneself of the unsatisfactory feeling left by guilt or to feel happiness.
Two notes. One, note how I try to avoid asserting the morality of something on readers, as it would run counter to my beliefs
Second, greed has an imagined negative connotation created by it’s association with deeds considered “self serving” and “immoral” (which I established are little more than constructs themselves). Here I used it for emphasis on the simiarity between decisions based on personal gain and decisions supported by the conscience.
As a result a more appropriate would be desire, but the more effective word is greed.
Greed just sounds a little wrong because of the imposed negative connotation.
