The Purification Crusade

She gets anxious over playing against each other easily (anti-competitive I guess?), so that’s why we mostly play co-op  I’ll check out your suggestions nevertheless, thanks!

Fucking love the series. It brings me infinite joy to see it being translated.

In clash of heroes you may try underplayed non optimal gimmicky tactics  That may ensure your winrate is lower than it could be otherwise.

Minecraft is the first game that comes to mind, but pretty much everyone would have played it by now. Stardew Valley also has co-op/multiplayer nowadays. Overcooked, Unravel and Ultimate Chicken Horse are also good games from what I’ve seen but are games that I haven’t played.

I was about to suggest Borderlands but never mind!

I tried to look up cooperative games but couldn’t really find anything I’d recommend. Honestly, so many of the games it recommended to me weren’t even co-op, they were strictly versus games.

On a side note, I hate how steam is perpetually recommending me games I’ve put on my ignore list. They just shove them on my store’s home page in a giant grayed out block. JUST DON’T SHOW IT TO ME AT ALL, THANKS.

Yeah neither of us are really enhusiastic about Minecraft. Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll check them out! We have actually played Ultimate Chicken Horse with a friend, it was really fun but not maybe a game I’d invest money in

Yep I’ve noticed this as well, they’re surprisingly scarce (otherwise I wouldn’t need to ask for recommendations).

I forget if A Way Out has a lot of violence but from what I heard it’s a masterpiece interms of co-op games but it might be a PS4 exclusive.

It honestly looks like a lot of fun, but I wouldn’t catch myself playing it without a full group of friends to enjoy it with. I was a big fan of Left for Dead, but it was not worth playing without someone else to enjoy it with.

Oh, speaking of Coop games.

Risk of Rain is a hardcore coop shooter/platformer, very noob unfriendly.

But really I wanted to suggest those:

  1. Starbound. Sci fi Terraria. Developed by members of original Terraria team. Was inferior to Terraria last time I checked, but it still was beta back then. The graphics is arguably prettier though.

  2. Dungeon Defenders 1/2 . Action RPG/ Tower defense game. Liked the first title, but never checked the second one. Played with my sis, not wife however, wife doesn’t like actions.

She even stopped playing Terraria when we suddenly met Eye of you-know-who.

Does anyone else find it nuts that flygon makes up a fifth of the responses here?

Actually, now that I think about it, there is something I can recommend I suppose. Tales of Vesperia is getting rereleased on PC (and current gen consoles). It has co-op for all battles, allowing the second player to control the character of their choice. Player one controls the rest of the gameplay however, making it very fun for someone who likes to back-seat game.

I highly recommend this game regardless of whether or not you’re looking for a co-op game, but it’s also very good for a co-op game.

What really scared the shit out of us the first game was meeting Goblin Army like 2-3 hours in the game
