I’m gonna make an all new account on Path of Exile or PoE. Does anyone who plays this game have any advice, especially for a class/build? I usually dislike stuff that is strength oriented and warrior like. Here’s hoping my computer can handle it.

Or I might even decide to play another game similar to it such as Divinity or Pillar, but I dunno what games would be good. Seems like PoE is more popular and well-liked and I had a pretty good experience with it back in 2015-14. Maybe you guys have some game suggestions similar to these games?

Sorry…i always go for biggest dude in the heavyst armor there is with the biggest 2h greatsword possible.
POE has a very broken resting mechanic…you need to rest to recharge spells,since resting is free and enemys don,t respawn theres no downside in constantly backtracking to the nearest tavern.POE2 fixed that broken restingsystem…if you want to go for spellheavy builds in POE1,prepare for alot tediousness

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Malicious Wisp. The impact is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of “Who’s the beatdown” most of the plays will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also Faie’s no fun allowed playstyle, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Joseki’s quote on that you can learn from Duelyst being frustrating on purpose, for instance. The Vanar mains understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly understand these plays, to realise that they’re not just powerful- they say something deep about the metagame. As a consequence people who dislike Malicious Wisp truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the plays in Faie’s midrange playstyle “Malicious Wisp into on curve Dancing Blades,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Rise of the Bloodborn disruption Faie. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Solafid’s genius positioning unfolds itself on their twitch app. What fools… how I pity them. 
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Dancing Blades tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 Serpentis in their collection of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid
