The Ostracon tournament update - Constructed Brawl news and a small poll

Hi guys! SirOmega here with a tournament updated.

Since the partnership with Battlefy for prize support (See this link here) things got slowed down a moment. All tournaments need to be set up at least 2 weeks in advanced meaning the way I used to set stuff up is no longer the best way to go about it. So I have taken the time to decide on a guaranteed day for Constructed Brawl to run on and will start planning each day way in advanced so please follow The Ostracon battlefy page to keep up with what tournaments are already scheduled.

As far as the day for Constructed Brawl, it will now always be held on Wednesdays. Many factors fell into the choice to host it in the middle of the week, but that doesn’t mean I am not interested in running 2 Constructed Brawls a week. If everyone would be interested in potentially playing in 2 a week I would gladly host them. I am including a small poll to see if everyone would be interested in a Wednesday and Friday tournament, both set for the same time of 5PM EST.

The next Constructed Brawl is set for May 2nd due to the 2 week delay from hosting. No big deal since this allows for more time in players being able to join. This does not mean that the tournament is every two weeks, just means I have to plan them at least 2 weeks ahead of time. Here’s the link for the upcoming tournament, but I will be sure to post a reminder when the time is much closer.

oh sorry, i copied that from the prize support link you included, on their rulings in “casual” tournament. I know it doesn’t apply to this tournament specifically, but it’s still nice to know that it’s there for people like me who got diamond by fluke. sorry it’s pretty off-topic.

Ah I see, well I don’t host many casual tournaments. Given that change I’m not sure I will be much anymore since a lot of my players happen to be diamond or up. Ah such is life.
