In the long gone ages of beta a card called Jax truesight defined the meta, using razorback on it usually won the game so mid faie was considered pretty good.

I saw someone added a lot of good work to the Ragnora page. I don’t know who it was, I assume one of you. It is helpful if you create a Twitch account or use your existing twitch account to login.

I edited it in a way that it fits to the formatting guidelines we have and added links to cards and abilities mentioned in the article.

That was me. I just don’t know much about the formatting guidelines. A link here to it would be appreciated.
I’m also logged in with my twitch account now. Did a few link changes before that though.

You already know how to handle links, that is great :smiley:

Guidelines for editing articles (there aren’t many):

  1. Use == == for creating sections, === === for under sections
  2. Card names should be capitalized e.g. Egg Morph
  3. Link the first mention of an ability or a card that exists on the wiki with [[ ]] (you can do more than the first mention if you want to)
  4. If you add several points to a section please use * at the beginning of every point.

I think there is a lot of wor to be done to unify the information on the listed generals.

this is what I found by skipping over faie and brome

  • general information
  • appeareance
  • lore
  • Bloodbound spell + depiction of its effect
  • general strategy
  • notes (like bromes provoke bug or other weird interactions)

Maybe in that order. It will take a lot of time but I might try to fill the gaps.

Archetypes can be put with their respective generals and then we can just copy paste them to an archetypes page because I like the sound of that.

Added strategy for Shidai. Also added a small paragraph to Lilithe’s Strategy.

Do I understand correctly, that it should be as basic as possible?

I thought of it as basic stuff that gets enabled by core cards. This way it will be longer of importance.

If you think there are some advanced strategies we should add to the generals’ page then do so! Just always have in mind that especially the generals’ strategies are meant more for newer players.

I like your addition to Lilithe a lot. Just so you know, you can just use [[BBS]] too because we created a redirect from BBS to Bloodbound Spell :smiley: it saves you some typing :wink:

@beelakor’s point is also a good one, if you use examples it is best to use core cards, that will result in less editing down the road.

Awesome to see that people are still fighting to keep Duelyst dream a reality. Game is amazing, it just needs the right tools and advertisment to break the player base. I only hope. Anyways back to the topic, I am currently a self taught web developer and I can help if you ever want to start a site. I feel comfident in HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP and starting to learn MySQL and tiny bit ReactJS. Considering Python as an option very soon, only wish there were more hours in a day :stuck_out_tongue:
