at the start of the season after reset when i spammed variax to see if someone can actually beat it easily as many players claim it is. by the time i got to rank 10 i had 3 win streak with it, i hate abyssians so i wanted to take a break, took my old magmar deck (not meta, without decimus or stuff like that) and had a 8 win streak all the way to rank 7 combined 11 win streak.
does it mean magmar op?

i lost the following 4 games with same magmar deck, had to switch to lyonar to not drop rank too much…
magmar are good, and have many good cards and options, but none of their cards seem underpriced, the math seems reasonable, its just the sheer quantity of the options they have that makes them hard to deal with. you can play around pretty much anything they have if you can guess their play correctly.
abyssians with their 5/5s for ~1 mana are just opressive you either build a deck to counter them or get godly draw to be able to actually kill them before they get going or you just lose. (pretty sure i beat 2 tournament winners with my quality variax spamm already, and abyssians are my least played faction).
if i had to choose opponent to be magmar or abyssian i would choose the magmar 100% of the time.
