So @sylvermyst’s stream with @ThanatosNoa is currently online, and we have some promising news. The most notable so far is Thanatos’ return to CPG as a community manager. If I wasn’t underage I’d probably be popping some champagne.

It is rather rare for a company to hire back someone if they got rid of him on purpose.
It is rather rare for a person to leave a company and change his mind and come back.
But I’ve seen both before, so… Welcome back @ThanatosNoa and I hope it’s both great for you and a good omen for our game and community!

Please note that CPG hired Thanatos, not BN. Thanatos will be the CM for CPG, but not Duelyst.

So, I dont know how much what I’m about to say impacts whatever logical threads conspiracy theorists like to build on their free time, but, if I recall correctly, in the stream, it was mentioned that at some point Thanatos was transferred to being a Bandai employee, not a CPG one- the reason why this wasnt announced is to not let any catastrophic theories and needless commotions rise in the community
So maybe his interests did take him elsewhere, maybe he had better ideas after pursuing those, and maybe its just meaningless filler text that doesnt matter at all in the grand scheme of things, which is what i think is most likely

Just gonna link the reddit post for this with Noa in the comments of it confirming:
Prismatic Cards: Were going to be updated but, ended up not having the resources to do it. It maybe a feature down the line but, don’t expect it.
Top 50 Gauntlet/S-Rank Lists: Is handled by Bandai/Namco and apparently takes awhile to parse the information. Another note was that Gauntlet Top 50 was created by community feedback by top Gauntlet Players (Hsuku, Nelda, Sylvermyst, ect.) The Top 50 for Gauntlet ended up hurting the overall Gauntlet experience by making people play less to game the system unfortunately.
Dogehai Skin: is only for Kickstarter backers don’t expect it ever.
New Skins: These aren’t cheap to make and they didn’t sell well. Don’t expect anymore special skins. (I’m guessing unless they are Boss Skins)
Old Splash Art: (General Splash Art) being upgraded will eventually be done, and again costs way too much for CPG to make, but they do plan on normalizing it eventually.
Patch: Thanatos said he is not privy to this information at the current moment. He is in the transition of being put back in place at CPG. So I’m guessing maybe more information on this eventually?
Boss Crates: Thanatos pushed the Devs to give them out for free to reward players time invested. I think everyone in the community is glad this happened.
Lore: Will most likely never be completed.
Tournaments: Bandai/Namco is in charge of these and no new information was given.
Xbox/Mobile Ports: No new information was given.

Old General Splash Art – What are they referring to here?
Does this mean art for generals like Vaath, Kaleos, Faie, etc will be redone? would be really sad if that’s the case, I love the original general art…

Yeah, a remake, because of the artstyle difference.
Fortune is on your side though, since thats a low priority task, and will probably remain just that for a while.

It would be done someday, but just know that is’ve very far down the list of CPG’s priorities at the moment. The way Thanatos explained it, CPG would rather work on new content than fixing an issue that isn’t immediately game-breaking.

i guess they’re really pushing for aperion then. i’m a bit scared duelyst will become a 100% bandai game, but if that happens, i would be more than glad to jump ship to project aperion, whatever it is.
