Technical/Bug Support subforum renamed to 'Community Support'

Can we talk about this?

The subtext still says “Have a bug or technical issue?” and there was no mention of this.

I think this means we have to go to BN for technical support now, which is disconcerting in the light of my previous experience with them regarding technical issues/bugs.

Do we have to resubmit current unhandled posts there to BN?

What exactly is ‘community support’?

Can we get clarification from an official source etc?

@Stormshade Since you’re active now, could you comment on this and answer these questions?

Especially because I júst received a reaction from customer support in which they direct me towards a bug thread on reddit and to this forum: so, is this forum and this subforum still useful for posting bugs? Or won’t it be read?

As a part of this merger, we (Bandai Namco) are handling the management of the forums and other social sites. While the development team is still welcome to read and post to the forums, we don’t want them to feel that they have to.

So, the “Community Support” forum is a place where the community can help with technical support issues. If you need more help than the community can provide, or don’t want to post to the forums, you can still file a support ticket, and our support team will answer your ticket and do their best to provide the support you need as soon as possible.

You can definitely continue to post bugs here, and send in tickets here. @ThanatosNoa will be able to collect them and make sure that the reports are put in front of the dev team On our side, when we get a ticket about an issue, we do our best to work with the customer to get the info and create a bug report that our QA team works on verifying before send to CPG for a fix.

As far as being directed to the mega bug thread, while we should still be collecting your information, we are referring users to that thread because our CMs are watching that thread like a hawk, and I’m pretty sure a few devs are as well. There’s a lot of reports there, and it’s possible your issue has already been reported there.
