Superior mirage+battle pando bug?

After being attacked mirages do 1 damage to all enemy units before disappearing. I think it is weird, my guess was that they disappear after they were attacked without triggering their effect. I wonder if it is intentional, or not.

If it is intended, the card text is unfortunate and it should be replaced by “disappear before counter-attacking”.

@ThanatosNoa, any clue about this?

Same with Lanternfox. Gave my opponent 2 phenix fires by attacking the mirages of my Fox. CPG honestly has no talent for card text what so ever -_-

I’m pretty sure this is supposed to happen. Hitting the enemy is part of the “attack” process, so any effect triggered by taking damage should be applied as per usual before disappearing. If Forcefield mirages don’t disappear upon being attacked, then I’ll be confused.

Superior Mirage is just crazy strong.

Well the card text says that they disappear when attacked, attacking comes before taking damage so they should disappear before getting damaged. Otherwise the cardtext should be “they disappear when damaged by an attack”.

I guess that’s true since “General attack” sentinels trigger before damage is dealt. But there would have to be something put in place to show that an attack was made so that it doesn’t look like the mirage vanished for no reason.
