Spending (vetruvian)

His everyone, as a new player, I have a few questions before or if I am going to spend money on this game (f2p all my life btw, it’s just I like this game that much lol). I main vetruvian, so if I were to buy orbs. Which are the most important as far as sets of cards go to buy first? Thanks a lot everyone

Buy core as they have the highest chance of dropping legendaries, dust any Epics and Legendaries then craft what you need.

Although each orb pulls different cards, I would recommend buying core orbs first, because that’s where all the best cards are.

I would say “all of the essential”.

As is the definition of the core set according to the “WE WILL HAVE ROTATIONS, CORE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE” days.

If you’re willing to hunt for Mythrons as to play around other archetypes, tho, splitting between core and Trial orbs can be nice, but yeah. Focus on core.

Get like one mythron first. It gives you one of the 7 mythron cards.

core definitely. like everyone said. it’ll also give you material for boss-killer decks, hence more orbs. and around and around.

Ohoho, child. I’m sorry I only saw this now.

Have you ever heard of the legendary sword, SPINECLEAVER?

Just any FYI… if you want the mythrons, it’s a lot easier to get them if you buy some orbs from that set. Opening them off of free rolls will take a looong time to get all of them. The only money I’ve spent has been on Mythron.

That said, Core is a huge set and has a lot of staples.

Ancients does too but I think a lot of those are more meme-y staples.

Once your collection stabilizes I would suggest buying one of the smaller sets to convert to spirit. Crafting power cards is way more efficient then trying to blind open them. Again though, that’s only after you’ve built up your collection a bit.

Get 1 mythron orb for a free trial card tgen core.

I wouldnt reccommend to disenchant anything though. Every time you disenchant you lose spirit in the long run and you never know if you will want to try another faction or a card that seemed useless at the beginning.

Not really a viable option anymore as they changd how the pack works, now core is the defacto best option.

I’m not sure I follow… I have been doing this for the last few months with no issue… unless I’m misunderstanding. I’m typically just using gold to buy ancients and dusting whatever I open since my set is basically done (minus freakin Drogon…)

The set has a lower chance to drop legendaries and epics compared to core.

Interesting… Somehow I’m still pulling them pretty often. Admittedly, I get Epics more. I may have to experiment with some packs and see what my pulls end up looking like. Thanks for the info.

We know this because the devs posted a statement in Shim’zar that was bassically “Cause core is core you get better odds” admittedly they are still kinda common.

Funnily enough while the orbs had a different model legendaries where more common then epics because there where more of them.

I get that, Just curious how it breaks down to actual openings. Dunno if you play any tabletop games but I’ve rolled enough dice to know sometimes reality and statistics don’t line up like we might think. (edit, that wasn’t intended as sarcastic. just musing while I organize getting ready for my big move)
