Well, the deck doesn’t know what it’s supposed to do…which is my usual problem.
- Are you aiming at mantra combo + chip damage?
Definitely cut:
Chakri (it is a threat, but only if not alone), Alkyone (too expensive), Twin strike (too expensive and unreliable),
Probably cut: 4WM (slow, but can be effective), azure herald (some early game, but not a threat; some healing, but will it save you?), Storm Kage (never managed to use it effectively; is there still hope?)
Definitely add: More mantras, mist walking (cheap and helps while not having board)
To consider: Spirals (both ones), LFox, BRM, Flicker.
In general, to make mantra working more reliably you want as little nonspell cards as you can.
- Are you just trying to utilise as many damage modifiers as you can?
Then avoid mantra, use spiral technique, it’s more reliable. 3 Alkyone seems too much even in this case, I’d never use more than 2. Also you REALLY need more card draw in this case : jammers, sojourners, LFoxes, HE - more the merrier. Geomancer is a nice option in burn decks - you may consider. Here I’m really sure Storm Kage is useless. Also you may want to cut abjudicators.
Two-three-four months ago I made this deck and used it in diamond rather successfully. You may (or may not) find it useful.
Burn deck
- Also you may add some artifact-based damage to the mix. But this case I won’t discuss, it’s a bit different story)
