Wouldn’t it be nice if you can pick the songs which play when you battle?
I just prefer some songs over the others. I really like a lot of the “rarer” theme songs (e.g. the songhai theme). It’d be really nice if I can choose. The biggest reason though, is that after the 500-1000 games I’ve played, I’m kinda tired of that one song that goes “WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOW…WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOW…dundunndundunDUNDUDUUUUUNDUUUNDUUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUN”.

Announcer:
There’s like 18 generals now. Maybe it’s time the announcer actually say the general’s names? i don’t really mind this one as much as that song I’m tired of. It’d be a nice touch though.

It’d be pretty cool to have some voice lines for the generals for the banter at the beginning of the game and ‘Hello’, ‘GLHF’, ‘Oops’, and ‘well played’.

I think I heard this in the song while rummaging through the game files once! And it IS weird that they removed it. This jam is so perfect for duelyst :frowning:

I’m actualy want voice acting for each Generals.
At the beginning of game, and each words for Hello, GLHF, Oops, and well played.
I want to hear their voices.
Also announcer sounds cool.

It’d be so cool if that happened. That’d be the perfect thing to do after addressing the lack of consistency of the design between the old and the new generals(whew, that’s a mouthful).

edit: I wonder if it’d be expensive to implement that. I mean, that’s 18 unique voices but also just 5 phrases. I’m not really familiar with how much voice actors charge either(aside from the fact that it’s a very serious matter).

if you guys can write some lines for each

not just “glhf” or “well played” but like flavorful things

and I can go on a voice acting website and get auditions for each

and if its cheap maybe we can convince thanatos

I’ll write some for the primary generals:

Argeon: Hello: Well met, my adversary. GLHF: May the sun’s blessing be upon you. Well Played: You fought well. Oops: I couldn’t have seen that coming.
Kaleos: Hello: Greetings. GLHF: I hope you don’t die too quickly… Well Played: Close, but not close enough. Oops: That’s too bad.
Lilithe: Hello: The shadows will consume you. GLHF: May the void have mercy on you. Well played: You’ve done well. Oops: My mistake.
Zirix: Hello: Hello, traveler. GLHF: Lady Aymara, have mercy! Well Played: The sands have taken their toll. Oops: I’ve made a terrible mistake.
Vaath: I haven’t seen you before… GLHF: Have a good hunt! Well Played: You Strong! Oops: Roaring
Faie: Hello: I crossed the ice barrier to get here. GLHF: See through the ice! Well Played: Your strategy was impeccable. Oops: Damn!

I’m all for getting voice acting in the game.

It helps being a voice actor is my dream job.

I’ve played about 22 months…with the game music muted for 20 of those…

I just play my own music if I am going to play for more than an hour or two. I usually do not play long enough for it to matter.

I do wish for more customization, though. Voice acting would be sweet!
