With the reveal of Wind slicer it tells me more Structures will be coming forth in the upcoming set. I’m excited to see what new Obylsks we will have to play with. Possibly some higher costed ones with multi spawning or bigger buffs? Who is to say. But Wind Slicer opens up new possibilities.
I personally love wind slicer the most for several reason:
-It looks well balanced
-It looks very fun to play with (yes I consider empty my hand on turn 2 fun)
-It fill a gap because vet had no good 2 drop to take mana tile early on.
-It will enable a new archetype that we haven’t seen before (structure deck!)
-It finally give a true identity to the vetruvian faction

I love it because it gives Ziran more potential and control mechanisms while being a strong minion too ^^
I like the idea of Sunforge lancer, it will be helpful to Zir’an. A lot
I think that Wind Slicer is a cool card, but I just hope that Vet gets some solid class cards that don’t rely on Dervish/Structure synergy.
Wind Slicer will only be good if more structures are introduced into Shim’Zar, which is probably likely.
I know this thread is old, but for those of you who don’t know or missed it. On the Duelyst Twitter, amongst the reveals of Shim’zar cards, one was a Vetruvian minion called Nimbus, apparently related to something called a Soulburn Obelysk. Only the art for the Nimbus was revealed and the Obelysk was only mentioned by name, but there is a possibility of one new structure at least.

I feel that even with wind slicer that structures are going to be more effective as bait for dispells to prepare for amarya healer spam than what they actually do.
With the effect of Wind Slicer though, aside from it having the stats of a stable 2 drop, finally!
You would be able to drop multiple Obelysks in one turn, forcing your opponent to either answer them all that turn somehow, or suffer their wrath. In the end, we can see how the meta shifts for Dervish Vet when Shim’zar drops and make final conclusions then.
Please, dear god, SOMETHING that has an effect on the turn its played. That’s all I ask. Vet problems, man…

Aymara healer doesn’t have to >;) it terrifies them anyway after all.
