It seems like youre rank only gets actualized if you play a laddergame?
So basicly if you would reach rank 10 and than not play for 20 days and come back,it would still show you rank10 despite you already having dropped to rank 80 which will just be shown to oyu after you played a match
Is my observation right?

Yup, it doesn’t update till after every match.
You are partially right, the indicator in your profile is always up to date, the S-rank ladder from bagoum also updates every minute. It’s only the ingame indicator that only updates after a game.
