After the good feedback I got for my first guide both in the forums and in-game I decided to share another one of my Cassyva decks. This one in particular shows how flexible Cassyva can be and how you can turn the roles around from being the pray into being the hunter.
#The Deck :

#Introduction :
I made this deck for Team Wars Season 2 Week 6 thinking that I could spice things up with unusual Cassyva techs while catching my opponents off guard. This deck resolves around abusing shadow reflection as much as you can while being extremely flexible as you can use it to surprise burst your Opponent or to kill their big minions out of nowhere. After winning both of my matches in Team Wars relatively easy 2 of my teammates decided to try this on ladder while i was working for my next Cassyva deck. One of them managed to take S rank #1 with this exact deck so big shoutout to our Songhai player DemmiRemmi for testing my deck on ladder.
#Gameplay :
Take a look at the deck, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind ? Exactly, abuse shadow reflection as much as you can in different ways depending on the matchup. The next big tech in my deck is the double Jax Truesight, this isnt a deck that requires you to answer the opponent every turn, while you can do that by using reflection defensively or using dark transformation/blades, the goal of this deck is to pressure your opponent with on-curve threats backed up with the mighty shadow reflection of course. Some of you may ask why am I not running Reaper of the nine moons or Vorpal Reaver ? The answer comes in two parts, firstly I dont like playing double edged swords in my decks if I can avoid it, its no secret that both of those cards can win you the game but on the other hand may lose you a lot of tempo if they get answered, losing tempo in a deck like this IS going to lose you the game, secondly its a matter of preference. I’ll list some of the synergies with shadow reflection and various situations you can use it to win you the game and also general matchup gameplan.
#Vs. Lyonar :
Jax should always be replaced vs lyonar because of their tempest. If you have nothing else to play on turn 6 and their hand isnt full then taking the risk of playing Jax is justified, why would a lyonar keep tempest against cassyva anyway right ^^ ? The lyonar matchup becomes easier with this deck than the regular control Cassyva because of 2x Dark Transformation in addition to the 3x Lure.
#Vs. Songhai :
A lot of Songhai are cutting ghost lightning from their decks because of the large number decrease in swarm decks, at least in higher ranks
. While we dont have zenrui for their fox we can still answer both their foxes and their magi with our dispells and dark transformations, not to mention that blinking away a magi vs a cassyva is useless because of our Lure. Some songhai decks evolved to have a better match against cassyva from being spell heavy into a mix of spells and powerful minions such as Hamon. Hard Removal such as DT can punish that.
#Vs. Vetruvian :
Jax can be really problematic vs any kind of Vet deck even if they do run star’s fury. If you can prevent them from stealing a shadow sister or a sojourner from you early on in the game then you shouldnt have any problems winning the match. As always, keep lures for their Aymaras
#Vs. Abyssian :
Dark transformation and Dioltas is a key card in this matchup, you will want to use your DT on either their shadow sister or their revenant but using it on their dancing blades is not the worst scenario either. In the mirror match you need to be the aggressor as much as you can, using your shadow reflections to deal enough damage in order to finish them off by 7-8 mana with your finisher cards. Jax isnt particularly good against Cassyva because of her BBS but he can be really strong against a Lilithe IF you encounter any.
#Vs. Vanar :
Pretty straightforward plan, play your Jax as soon as possible and win the game. I’ve won 5 out of 6 matches against mech vanar with this deck by killing them before they kill me, you cant do anything if they get their turn 3 mechazor other than dispell it and use DT on him in a future turn but other than that you are going to have a pretty good time against any kind of Vanar deck.
#Vs. Magmar :
Jax should always be replaced and not played unless you have nothing else to play that turn and pray they dont have Harvester or Plasma Storm in their hand. Like with any Cassyva deck against Magmar you want to cut off their way with your shadowcreeps while keeping your sister out of their range.
#Shadow Reflection Situations and Synergies:
Lyonar : Killing an Ironcliffe with a 10/3 Dioltas is pretty sweet or using a 6/1 mini jaxi to kill their silverguard knight can propably win you the game. Answering a 6/1 out of range mini jaxi will be hard for lyonar unless they want to waste tempest or sunbloom for a single minion.
Songhai : You have to kill them before they kill you so use your shadow reflections whenever its possible, on a tombstone for a 5/10 provoke minion, on your sojourner for card draw while dealing 6 damage to them or you can approach a magi with an innocent paddo and then use reflection on it to kill him, take your pick. If they use OBS on either a buffed tombstone or a buffed blades then your revenant will make them cry.
Vetruvian : Shadow Reflection can save both your tombstone and your sojourner from their zenrui. using it on a mini jaxi early on to kill an obelysk for example is also a huge tempo gain for you.
Abyssian : Best targets for your shadow reflections in this matchup are tombstone and sojourner again, answering a dancing blades on curve can be hard for them so use any shadow reflections in your hand on your blades next turn for surprise burst damage so you can finish them off with Nova or Revenant.
Vanar : Using a Shadow Reflection early on will make them waste one of their removal spells which makes your life easier as long as the game is drawn out. Let them use a chromatic cold or a cryogenesis on your 6/1 mini jaxi or your 6/5 sojourner, if they are buffed it means they already got some value for you and you are making them waste resources.
Magmar : If you can use a 6/1 mini jaxi to kill an earth sister knowing that your mini jaxi will propably die next turn its still worth it. Any other minion buffed with reflection will most propably make them use an eggmorph on it which makes room for your revenants to win you the game.
#Possible Subs :
Many people love their Sunset paragons in Cassyva and im one of those so switching out your DT for ponies is still a valid choice. The switch makes Vanar/mech matchups easier but lyonar matchups in particular a bit harder.
Switching out a single sojourner for a Rite of the Undervault could make your drawing options more flexible.
Primus shieldmasters are also a good option for this deck thanks to their big health that makes them even more scary with Reflection.
Some people may not like Jax, especially since a neutral AOE minion is coming in a few days, so Vorpal Reaver or even Archon can replace Jax in your deck.
#Conclusion :
I have been having a blast with this deck on ladder and i want people to try it out for themselves in the last remaining days we have for Jax Truesight being a good card (RIP). Like I said in the subs section, this deck can still be viable with any other good 6drop, Vorpal Reaver can deal 22 damage with a single reflection IF he survives and Archon is a very annoying minion with a big body that is extremely good on curve especially against other cassyvas. As always please ask me anything you want in the comment section below and correct me if I made any mistakes or forgot to explain something, I hope you have fun with this deck :).

. Lyonar has already too many 3drops in their current lists, knights, tigers, sojourners and unless Songhai is playing the tempo minion heavy list they’ll always opt for twin strike/ghost lightning over skorn due to the nature of their deck, that’s from my point of view though.
.
!! This is only my second guide so I hope I can get better in the future.
