I think it’s fine as is. As soon as Morin-Khur and Wild Inceptor rotate out I’m going to find Eggmar a lot more tolerable. Honestly the Rippers are only problematic in three situations:
- You stay close enough to the eggs that a buffed Ripper can hit you twice.
- They play an out-of-hand combo that allows a new Ripper egg to be hatched and buffed.
3.The super unlucky situation where they have the hatch/buff combo in hand, run a 3/1 Ripper into you from afar, rehatch it and buff it for the combo.
The third is usually quite unlikely and with the rotation of Inceptor and the ridiculous crutch that is Morin-Khur gone the second and third both become a lot less likely. I currently play a Ragmar deck that only uses Egg Morph and still win a lot of the time but that is because a disturbing amount of people don’t respect the dormant eggs. It only takes 1 mana (GF) or 3 mana (Primordial Gazer) to do 10 damage off an egg who was ignored. Respect the eggs man.

If you mean gotatsu, it cycles your deck, it lets you finish stuff off, sometimes it’s a good idea to shoot your own lantern fox for a phoenix fire, and it kills heartseekers and eggs, which is very relevant.

Ripper is fine, People don’t have a problem with Vet legend Ka screwing Vaath and Ziran.The reverse strategy is the way to deal with Ripper buffing your general attack by one or equip an artifact greatly reduces the effectiveness of Ripper. So some counterplay is involved also wild inceptor and Morin Khur is being rotated out.Egg Morph is the only activator. Ripper is fine but if it isn’t then also for the same cost Songhai is walking Ripper with Bangle and Saberspine Seal lets nerf Songhai generals to 1 attack. Please
