Hey everyone! Thanks for taking my last survey and I’ve actually got another one for you today but it comes with a new idea for something I’m hoping that I can make happen.
I’ve been talking to people about the possibility of bringing back a Duelyst League style tournament. (Similar to the Duelyst Pro League for those old enough to remember that but it would be open to anyone) At the moment I’m unsure if something like this is possible but I figure that if I can show that the community supports the idea it’s more likely that I’ll be able to find a way to put it together!
What this would mean is that people would essentially be playing in a round robin drawn out over a number of weeks. Each week you would face off against a number of other players. Instead of playing at a specified time you would be responsible for finding a match time that works for both you and your opponent which means that regardless of where you live you should be able to play! After the round robin is completed (or a certain number of weeks has finished depending on the number of players participating) there would be some way of determining a winner and any associated prizes would be awarded.
I’m going to use this survey to try and both gauge interest in this kind of event as well as try and have you, the players, get some input on the kind of tournament that you would like to see. If you’re interested in possibly competing then please fill out the survey and if there’s enough interest I’ll be sure to do my best to make this thing happen!
