Rae vs Spectral Revenant

As the title said i have a question about this two minion: if the Revenant attack Rae what effect triggers first? The Revenant do the damage or the damage effect is dispelled before???
I am thinking about this because i re-watch one of my match on duelyst and i see that if i had change the positioning of the Revenant and the effect works i could win the matchā€¦

I suppose Rev always shoots first.

you know this is actually a weird interaction. i had an 8 damage thunderhorn shooting through 3 enemies(dervish, rae, general) and it only did 16 damage instead of 24

Rev happens first as the is a dying wish effect which happens after it is destroyed.

If the interaction was say Tethermancer Vs. Spectral Revenant it would be the turn playerā€™s effect goes off first.

Yep, itā€™s pretty clear.

  1. Attackerā€™s ā€œwhen x attacks/deals damageā€ effect
  2. Same for the defender
  3. Dying wish effects

Itā€™s not fanboying or whatever, in one of the extended versions they added the other dude shooting first.
