I’m not entirely sure if this is just something with my connection or if it’s more of a thing with the game, but after recently returning to the game I found I’m still having the same issue I remember having a while back with gauntlet matches in particular.
Sometimes when I try to queue into games in gauntlet, the queue times will be incredibly lengthy, taking over 3 minutes to complete, and then eventually end by telling me the game I’m trying to connect to is over and I lost. I could cancel and look for another match when it feels like this is about to happen, but this leads into a sorta catch-22 situation. When I cancel and go into another match, and lets just say I win, I’ll go to my score screen and see one more win AND one more loss than before the match started, because (I assume) the game still connected me to a match without telling me but let me search for a new one anyways.
The main issue is, every gauntlet I play I feel at least one of my losses comes from games like this, and I don’t know how to prevent it. I’m not sure if I’m just missing how you’re supposed to reconnect to games where the connection didn’t work properly at the start, but it’s super discouraging while playing through gauntlet to only be afforded two actual losses before it’s over.
