Potentially the Dumbest Deck Ever

Now, you may be currently asking yourself something like “What mind-altering substances is this poor fool on?” To be quite frank, I don’t entirely know. However, there is a logical explanation. Look at all the minions aside from Kujata and Hydrax. What do they all have in common? That’s right, they all cost one or two and die to Kujata. If you Dance of Memes before doing this, or have a hydrax out (or both) you draw a card each time you play a card, and then that card dies too. And Twin Fang? Kujata counts as damage taken, which’ll lead to some 25+ attack Starhorns. You can end the game out of hand pretty early with this deck, but that’s not what it’s about. It’s about sending a message, that whatever they thought Duelyst was they were wrong. This deck is not about winning, it’s about breaking the rules, and standing in defiance of the stale meta.

I have not actually tested this, because I have no spirit. So if someone else would, I would appreciate it.

Starhorn and his twing fangs, a combo deck

So recently, I was fortunate to open two twin fangs. I always thought that Starhorn was not worse than vaath, he just wants a very different game to be played: one where drawing the extra card is just significantly better for you than your opponent. This translates in playing a deck with lots of synergy as well as a deck that does not play the long game. The deck I built can be seen below. The main engine is an idea I saw floating around. I know it’s not the same deck, but I just wanted to be as dumb.

…and this wasn’t even close to the first one.

It was super fun when I dropped a shadowdancer and a guy went ahead and played it out anyway.

I made a similar deck with battle pets as drawn…conclusion it’s to inconsistent. U can never play kujata out early you can play the Artifact first if you have all the cards but still inconsistent by the time you get it ur opponent just gonna run away and try and ping off the twin fang

There is nothing quite like coming up with a cool deck like this, and only discover that someone already thought of it. I made the previous post on this cool new archetype that was actually already a known deck. As they say, all inventions have already been made before.

I never see it on the ladder though. And I still think this deck smashes face.

I do think that you should run more draw. I am an advocate of the 3 drops as mentioned in my take on the deck. It gives the deck something to do in the early turns.

ive actually been tweaking this deck to see if there’s a better way to go about it, and I played it in S last month with a classy 20% win rate. I was accused of hacking multiple times by players who hadn’t read dance of dreams and then died confused

Been playing a dance of memes deck quite a lot some time ago. Performs like ass, but is hilarious if you can pull it off. You basically don’t do much until you get your combo. Stuff like tectonic spikes can allow you to play some of your one-drops before assembling your combo. I’ve found Aethermasters and Abjudicators to be the bread and butter of this assembling operation however. Additionally, I fit a single plasma storm in order to have some comebacks and board resets. Basically, you have to buy yourself time without really wasting slots in your hand.
