Patch but no patch notes

@Ryvirath, there was a patch but there were no patch notes, tell us all that’s changed plz. Is it just the monthly quest and the boss tomorrow?

Yep, the patch was just to put in the monthly and the start up the boss rotations again.

Maybe I wrote it already, but I’d like to remark this: it seems the pace of patches has slowed dramatically since the beginning of 2017. It was cool to have two monthly patches back then, especially because one of them introduced new cards to the game.

Though I see why monthly cards have been removed, I still think that the devs should target two patches per month. They give the feeling that the development is lively and even small tweaks and additions to the game are welcome by the community.

Not every patch needs to be groundbreaking, but seeing only one patch (after one full month) which does not even require the presentation of patch notes is a bit disappointing to me. There are tons of small “quality of life” changes proposed in the forum, which are obvious to implement: making them enter the game more systematically would be awesome.

@Ryvirath Do this mean that we won’t see a balance patch until maybe the end of April?

Hey apologies that I didn’t reply to this sooner, completely slipped my mind.

The pace of patches has definitely slowed down, and that’s mostly because we only push out patches when we have a reason to, patching for the sake of patching would make no sense.
We have been working on a lot of bigger features so due to that we haven’t been getting as many patches because the stuff just is not ready to ship yet, but some of it will be soon, and it’s something to keep an eye out for :smiley:

Generally when we need to push out a content update, or if there is something on the backend/frontend we need to update but can only do with a patch. This most recent patch is of the latter, where we needed to patch to put the quest in, take the expansion banner down and reenable boss battles.
