I’m interested in what damage can do done out of hand with no setup (no abjudicators or anything on the board with 9 mana max, general attacks are included), and so have come up with a list, if there is anything I have missed then tell me and I will add it. I will only be including each combo at it’s highest damage, to avoid making the list super long :slight_smile:

  1. twin fang, kujata, kujata, kujata, keeper of the vale, sand burrower infinite times. 9 mana, infinite damage. (Thanks @seedy)
  2. kujata, twin fang, dance of dreams, play out 34 1 health things. 6 mana, 70 damage.
  3. kujata, kujata, drogon, bbs, cryptographer, bbs, cryptographer, bbs, cryptographer, bbs (as vaath). 8 mana, 62 damage. (thanks @diplodoraptor)
  4. gravity well, ghost seraphim, flawless reflection spirit of the wild. 9 mana, 42 damage.
  5. scroll bandit, obscuring blow, obscuring blow, obscuring blow, inner focus, inner focus, mana vortex, inner focus, inner focus, inner focus. 9 mana, 42 damage. (thanks @excogitator and @oranos)
  6. evolutionary apex with 3 drogon and 2 elucidator in hand, bbs. 8 mana, 34 damage. (Thanks @oranos)
  7. staff of ykir, oblivion sickle, oblivion sickle, aurora’s tears, aurora’s tears, time mealstrom. 9 mana, 32 damage. (thanks @phoinexflame)
  8. bloodtear alchemist, darkfire sacrifce, ion, shadow refelction, sol, sol. 9 mana, 31 damage.
  9. saberspine tiger, obscuring blow, obscuring blow, inner focus, inner focus, inner focus. 8 mana, 30 damage. (Thanks @thefirstgokun)
  10. mask of shadows, mask of shadows, bangle of blinding strike, obscuring blow, obscuring blow. 9 mana, 28 damage.

  14. glacial fissue, glacial fissure, glacial fissure. 9 mana 26 damage.

these kinda count, not sure where else to put them

  1. bloodsworn gambler, inner focus. 5 mana, infinite damage (maybe).
  2. Doom. 9 mana, enough damage

Saberspine Tiger, Obscuring Blow 2x, Inner Focus 3x, 28 damage, 8 Mana

Also Doom takes multiple turns to proc, so its about as “out of hand” as playing a bunch of minions and then attacking with them on the next turn.

Also, have you been counting General attack damage? Because in that case this is a 30 damage combo.

the doom one was more silyness than anything :stuck_out_tongue:

evolutionary apex with 3 elucidators and 2 makantors = 23 damage +general attack = 25 damage
or with 3 drogons and a BBS for 24 damage (more if you have any overloads before hand)

Changing Obscuring Blow with Saberspine Seal messes with Inner Focus :neutral_face:.

For 3, couldn’t you do kujata, kujata, drogon, BBS, crypto, BBS, crypto, BBS, crypto, BBS for 62 damage at 9 Mana?

mindlathe an excelsior with 2 shadow reflections for 32-68 damage for 9 mana

Good thing I got Bangle, 2x Mask of Shadows, 2x Obscuring Blow.

General = 2
Mask of Shadows x 2 = 8
Obscuring Blow x 2 = 4

2 + 8 + 4 = 14

14 x 2 (Bangle) = 28 damage!

it is out of hand. every single abyssian card was played out of hand with no board but my enemies

i guess this means even shadow creep counts as setup?

I’m guessing damage taken counts too as setup.

Still having flash backs of triple Blood Taura + Spirit of the Wilds :cry:.

yes, creep counts as setup, and by out of hand, I mean just do it on a empty board :slight_smile:

songhai has so many combos that are 2TK its hard to sort out all of them
not to mention all abyssian combos require setup (doom doesnt count. combos need more than 1 card to be a combo)

we cant forget decimus

I’m not seeing the combo there, flash deci x2, spikes, gaze is 15+6+2 for 23 damage, close though, but including all the close ones would be crazy :stuck_out_tongue:

i forgot about max 9 mana when calculating that

flash decimus x2 + flash manaforger + BBS+ tectonic spikes + entropic gaze = 25 damage at 9 mana

so there

and @phoinexflame that needs setup of having played rokadoptera, so doesn’t count :frowning:
