October Monthly #1 Day Watcher!

i dont see this card that much in healionar … thing is, this guys doesnt stand alone, you need other minions, and acutally a bunch to get good use of it. i get the healionar thing, but meh.
the most obvious answer is swarm decks … but why play this instead of kelaino?

i actually think this could be awesome in a vet deck. Dervishes, PAX, all those things would make a great use of this :slight_smile:

PS: we had around-damage monthly cards, so this could be the entire opposite: healing.

PS 2: love it anyway, definetly looking to try this guy out, and the sprite is awesome

i can see the memes now… healbyssian. lilithe getting healed whenever something dies, takes damage or attacks… its even more consistent than lyonar and it ramps as 3 4 and 5 mana

You won’t get healed from counterattacks; it is worded and thus functions the same way as Gore Horn. You have to initiate the attack to proc the effect.

Also, you would get healed if Day Watcher were destroyed by the combat, because the attack is the trigger, which happens before the minion dies.

I can’t believe I forgot about shadow watcher , but 3 of those too.

Void pulse bloodmoon and spectral blade.

Zureal the life giver, keeper of the value, sarlac the eternal, nether(if I can get it), healing mystic.

Never gonna give health up, never gonna smorc us down, never gonna run around and clear board. Never gonna emote cry, never gonna say well played. Never gonna sell my pride, and say oops.

you know, if you kill a healer with 5 wraithlings and a dancer on the board, the effect is completely nullified

Heal lyonar just got another buff. Can it be argued that with Sunforge Lancer synergy, Zir’an is at the same level as Argeon?

Probably not, it’ll take some kind of big threat at 5 or 6 mana to get there imo.

I’m holding out hope for some kind of bulky 6 mana minion that heals every minion by 1 and draws cards for healed enemies.

Don’t support the archetype and Argeon does DB better anyway. Also I said 5 or 6 mana.

With one of the monthly cards being Azure Herald (and from what we know of Azure Horn Shaman), I think this month will definitely focus on health or healing effects (Azure Herald preview here).
