This is not a rent.
You can guess what is all about now, yes! Vanar player got the worst mythron (by far).
The reason being - first they are maybe alot of tokens but the most of them cost +2 mana, part of 'em needs to be played on your minions (aspects) and they are all (besides bear and the expensive ones) getting it when it comes to aoe (every aoe)
My problem is simple - WHY MAKE IT FIVE?? do you know how hard it is to hold five diffrent tokens in the same time while running a control when your mana curve usually is critical for your gameplan? I don’t have 2 mana to spend in the end of a turn, to generate fox and even if i did, i usually need the minions for stall or control, this makes token creating a problem.
For the last week i tried almost every kind of deck foe oak - the result is simple - every deck that pulled oak fairly good is a deck that i would win 2 turns before if just focusing on my gameplan alone without the token babysitting. i’ll take my vespyr deck for example --> usually on avg the game is finished by turn 8-9 unless i play against very heavy control deck then it would take longer.
On avg if i managed to win using oak it took me well into 9 mana!
So every faction got a fairly playable mythron (even magmar - i felt that golem dumpstering me) but vanar’s lacking big time.
If it was 4 tokens - it will be challenging yet playable.
If it was play 7 token generating cards - that would be even better and fairly even with other factions.
The card is beautiful and fun as hell when done correctly, but right now it works well as a seal for embla on turn 9, works on vespyr kara and works on arca deck, but i have way better wincons so why bother(besides the fact that it takes a slot in hand) ?
i’m fairly good vanar player and i tell you for this card to be playable something crazy needs to happen.
P.s - please lower wild hunt to 3 mana instead of 4 it is crazy expansive and without a hardcore arca deck or oak playable it is just useless.
What do you think?
