No more snow for a while

I mirror snows feelings here. However I am not going anywhere because I still love the game, and am to invested both on time and money to leave…that being said there is also no were for me to go to as I have yet to find another successful, pc, pvp, digital, tactical board game. And even Duelyst has a big question mark on whether it is successful or whether it is going to move more into CCG territory.

Duelyst still remains fundamentally great despite its issues, and it would take a combination of something better coming along and Duelyst declining for me to go anywhere. Although I am certainly not playing as much as I normally would.

I still hold out hope that Q4 will be good, and or we get a balance patch soon.

Incase of a deep cutting balance patch i’ll back again, same goes for the expansion.

Glad to know that there are good people to get back to if things will get a reset.

I totally understand your feels. Good that you’ll stick around here, my future Vanar memes like comments (once I get the spirit sinked in, why oh why do I love niche legendaries so much…)

Except old Lantern Fox summoned a copy of itself and was prone to causing OTKs.

I recognize you are upset, but you should really reconsider this statement. Wanderer and ziran have some of the highest skill ceilings in the game; they also happen to have toxic mechanics about them… well ziran does. Wanderer is fair outside of flash and possibly bbs tokens.

I agree, it’s just that Flash Wanderer is what those who don’t really consider their moves play extensively in lower ranks (from Gold/highe-ish Gold above at least). Can feel really toxic when it happens three times a row and you notice blatant enemy misplays which you can’t fully capitalize on because of the tempo difference from there on (or maybe you can, but you need reeally good skills for that when not playing something like FaultKha, and most of us are just average players).

I’n not going to get into an arguement about it.
I will say this - highest maybe but it seems that players that played 2 - 3 seasons of wanderer only got 80% winrate (checked).

So the ceiling maybe high but you don’t need much to actually roll it.

Every meta has top tier decks utilized by noobies to reach diamond/s-rank. Its nothing new. Also i dont think this is the worst meta ever, m2c.
Personally as an abyss main i just try to find the most consistent deck of my faction in the current meta and just play with it. But thats just how i play considering i dont have much time.
By the way, its your decision. hope you’ll stick around becuase q4 is really close and this wanderer nightmare is coming to an end (hopefully)

And if it dosen’t, Duelyst will be on life support. I really don’t think I can take much more of Wanderer, and this is coming from the player with (I’m pretty sure) the most Abyssian ribbons in the game (I have 59).
