No more snow for a while

I finally had it with this game, got to the point i can’t really play fun things and the lack of unranked forcing people into playing the same 2-3 deck 90% of the meta into a really boring journey.
Wanderer players, ziran players s rank should be a goal that you reach and get to based on your actual skill, playing these decks and ramming your way up while some of you have ZERO idea how to play this game without training wheels (wanderers) is ruining the ladder, the game, the meta and the fun for most of players.
Plus the deafness of the so called cm is really hurting the community and an untreated meta hurts even more.
Where’s the update? What is the content? Can we get one fucking answer regarding the so many questions that slowly drown because the community gave up on the cm’s help?
I usually get more then a massage a day regarding the meta, how people can’t play vanar without getting crashed or tilted, new players wanting to leave and core players that just had enough.
I myself got super tilted this week, so i decided this is not good for me anymore, i uninstalled the game until the “patch” or “content” will come then i’ll consider if it worth coming back to.
I paid for every expansion even though i didn’t really needed to (only played vanar and songhai) but supporting the game and the community i love was a blessed intention.

The reason i’m writing this is for you people to stop sitting and saying that things will be ok, and start asking for answers ( those of you who paid actual money).
Where are the updates? Where are the patches? What is the content? What’s the playerbase situations?
Why are we getting treated like second hand money machines?
Where is mobile? What’s going to happen now that a new game is coming out?
WHY THE CM INGORES HIS COMMUNITY??

I feel like i had enough and it’s funny because i thought i’ll see it to the end, maybe i will.
I’m sorry if this post made any of you feeling uneasy but i had to take it out, it’s been a while.
You’ll still see me here, as always i’m enjoying the crazy vanar memes you send me and will throw it straight to scarzig or another crazy sob for checking.

I left already but I enjoy this community so I’m still on forums but what games do you plan to play instead?

Rest well for now you crazy bombalob. While i understand your sentiment i guess we all have our reasons to remain - as for example half those things aren’t so much felt in lower brackets (silver aint a Ragnorafest), and i staying here both for enjoying myself my medium-low success memes and for seeing Duelyst’s fate, whichever route it takes, as an excelent case study for my projects.

I guess general sentiment is a bit more skeptical than the hope you paint us with. At this point we want anything but silence but deep within we got used to yell at a rock knowing it wont answer. The little answers from time to time are just perfect hope spots to keep the cycle.

I may try to finish hob or hyperlight drifter, i really have time for one game at a time + hob is one of my favorites.

Hey dude, I’m sorry to read those words from you, but I’m glad to know you’ll stick around, even if the situation is so static right now. Though CM actually has no responsibility on this, for the rest you speak “harshly…and truly”, as someone once said in Winterfell, and though I also feel a bit down about this game (for which I invested also, and I’m willing to invest again) I think the best is to change air for a while, keep track for the updates because they’ll come, somehow, at some point in autumn, but they will come. Take care!

The general hiatus between the contracts? That she came by like the devs basically came here saying “hi guys, hey, look, we brought this intern here, she’s still figuring things out as we haven’t fully informed her of how the ropes run” at a time we need information instead of uninformed people?

I guess, if there was anything to be told, even newly hired CM could tell it.

Still, I’m pretty faithful to the game and community, and was able to get my Diamond (which fits my true expertise) without much of a hassle.

I’m also very patient, so I guess I’ll stay up to the very end. I still have some deck ideas I never played, cards I have to craft, and in general some things to do in Dooli.

I understand your feelings, but I still don’t feel negative emotions of the same magnitude. Maybe cause I personally had it worse with Dooli…

You are right (i myself got to diamond pretty fast as usualy as well) but it is not the rank i reach thag drive me to do this like the worst meta i ever encountered, the horrid boring games and decks i have to play against poping most of the time and the most unalive cm to give us at least a ear.

I’m really glad to hear you’re not on your way out, dooli needs some good ol’ people inside.

(Eager to see your russian boy in the ufc btw)

I mirror snows feelings here. However I am not going anywhere because I still love the game, and am to invested both on time and money to leave…that being said there is also no were for me to go to as I have yet to find another successful, pc, pvp, digital, tactical board game. And even Duelyst has a big question mark on whether it is successful or whether it is going to move more into CCG territory.

Duelyst still remains fundamentally great despite its issues, and it would take a combination of something better coming along and Duelyst declining for me to go anywhere. Although I am certainly not playing as much as I normally would.

I still hold out hope that Q4 will be good, and or we get a balance patch soon.

Trust me, I always randomly drop this game for 2 weeks for no reason even when I loved it.
