I played this game a long time ago, and when I got on recently all but 2 decks I wasn’t able to use, and every deck I make is complete trash. I’ve tried looking at these forums for good decks, but I don’t have half the cards needed for them. I’m kinda new to this forum so I don’t really expect a reply but anything is appreciated.
Need help for beginner deck for Magmar
what kind of budget are you working with? do you have makantor warbeasts is the most important question
I do not have any of those, and I really don’t have much as cards go
this is just something I threw together now so it is not tested, it is very cheap with only basics/commons and should be strong enough to work for you. the first thing you should focus on in terms of rarer cards is makantor warbeast, it is probably the best card in the game and it only gets better in lower ranks.

I do not have any primus fist, young silithar, krater, or ragebinder.

you should have enough spirit from disenchanting bad cards to be able to craft them, if you intend on playing magmar then they are all cards you should get.

Are you supposed to not be able to use anything but standard cards?
Unless you’re playing unlimited you can’t play cards.from the Denizens.of Shim’zar expansion.
