Need a deck to reach S rank

I need ur help , im always stuck in gold and i need a good , solid deck to break out and reach higher ranks
preferd factions , magmar , abissian
i can craft the cards

Just look at any of @deathsadvocate’s decklists man. He’s a consistent S-ranker which makes his decks a good basis of reference. Otherwise, just try not to play too heavily into stuff you could avoid

Have a look at some of the decks on the forums for ideas. As above, death’s decks are quite good.
You could always post your deck and ask for improvements.
If you are struggling against something specific you could ask as well.

Deck building is pretty simple. Start with the core of your deck. What’s the theme? What cards do you want to play a lot? Is it Swarm, and you need Shadowdancer/Gloomchaser/Bloodtide Priestess? Is it Golem, and you need Metallurgist/Slasher/Ragebinder?

Next fill out your staples. 3x Sphere of Darkness, 3x Whip, 3x Slasher, 3x Makantor.

Fill in 1 or 2 mana minions until you have at least 9 opening plays and make sure to have maybe 5 or 6 removal options, plus AoE if you want.

Fill the rest of your slots with more thematic cards, tech cards like Betrayal/Mindlathe or just good cards like Thunderhorn. Remember the 4 mana slot is really important.

Any deck with a decent curve and good cards can reach S.

but for real. DONT. i know making into s rank looks like a must. but it isnt. u will lose a lot of tournaments for beginners. and will get demolished by more experienced players. try playing for fun and learning the game (staples, combos, current meta, MEMES, etc). and then, think about going to S. but if u really want. pick up a DA deck. is that simple. but thats only my opnion XD.

I can recommend @deathsadvocate lists. He makes awesome, competitively powerful and really fun to play decks for every faction (except Songhai, but I am not sure). He also streams the newest decks, I recommend checking it out.

He hates Songhai with a passion I tried to argue several times, but it’s impossible, he’s so dedicated.

So, true, no Hai decks from him.

But his Abyssian ones are masterpieces.

I think he hates the general spellhai decks. If backstab had more viable support i think he would play that.

Yeah, he kinda also can live with midrange hai being a thing. But any burnhai or artifact hai variant is “toxic”.

There has been a massive balance patch a few days ago, there literally is no meta at the moment and i don’t think there will be any attempts at a tierlist for at least another 1 or even 2 weeks. Just play what your comfortable with.

Since none has posted a deck yet and I don’t play that much anymore, here’s what I’m using:

Core cards are all 3ofs + Soul Grimwar and DFC.
1ofs are not needed, just examples of what you can use as finisher/tech cards.

Pro: This deck has been viable since May through all the different metas.
Con: Since I mostly play gauntlet I haven’t been to S for 6 months, so I’ can’t say that I have tested it thouroughly.
Also this deck worked well against lavaslasher, seraphim or saurian. But the rebuke change hurts it, so it got nerfed in the latest patch.
