My first experience with a toxic player

So, Today I was doing my ladder, I finally got to gold (Cheers!) and I fought this wild lyonar with my wild Dream Taura deck. Fine, I won and he invited me to his friendlist, I was happy and everything because I thought he would praise my deck. He didn’t, Instead he told me Vanar is bullshit and retarded, before I could even answer him he removed me.

I’m not crying because of that, actually it is a happy thread. I have 9 vanar ribbons, months of duelyst and never, ever found a toxic player, that’s really good friendos!

I don’t even know if I had an experience with a toxic player. Once I bet a songhai player with a songhai deck and he added me, just to write something in itallian then remove me before I could even write that I dont speak itallian

Some people are ridiculous. I was running a burn vanar deck and after he lost I get 5 messages about how I’m trash and a noob because I’m playing vanar. Mind you if you check my profile Ive been a diamond player 3 of the last 4 seasons. Been playing about 7 months and I own 3 Songhai ribbons so I don’t even play “noob” vanar like that.

I’d be inclined to agree with him that “Vanar is bullshit”- but he sure could have been more constructive/fun about that. This is kindof par-for-the-course in TCGs though, people get too wound up and get mean.

To be honest, this post probably wasn’t worth your time- dude was just being salty about losing. That just happens though.

Sometimes they say something and delete you before you can even read what it says. It’s actually pretty hilarious

Sorry to hear you ran into an upset player, but glad that its happened rarely. Don’t forget there is also a report option or your able to send in a support ticket if you feel it warrants it! :smiley:
