“Hey guys, we must apologize for big mistake we done in the past. We didn’t mean to give you couple of playable, competitive-worthy cards for only 3900 gold, that wasn’t the plan. Now we don’t have ‘design space’ to make a big set where you will have to crack around 150-200 boosters before you hopefully open something of relative strength and same amount; we strongly believe this is the right way for you guys. So with all of this in mind, unfortunately we have to replace strong cards in small sets with some useless crap you won’t be able to use effectively anymore. Nonono, no compensation or full disenchant value involved, as we don’t believe compensations are fun. And don’t forget your free common keys!”
I feel very very sorry for people who bought that set with real money, but Counterplay most likely doesn’t. I bought it with gold and still feel its a shame - if I knew beforehand there will be no strong cards I probably wouldn’t.
If you guys decided to kill F2P players (like H********e did), you are on the right path now. Otherwise no. I never thought Duelyst was greed-corrupted with its pretty loyal small sets economy (and never said bad words about that), but now I do.
Maybe I missed something important? Prove me wrong pls, as I still can’t believe what happened
