Miguel's Abyss deck and discussion space

#723

You’re right, it was surprisingly fast ^^ https://duelspot.com/deck/miguels-budget-build-3-deal-with-it/

It’s weekend, so I’ll try to add some selections of my favorite decks from the past there too.

What I also like a lot about Duelspot is the fancy formating you can do

Look at @nh3maser’s deck: https://duelspot.com/deck/4k-spirit-lyonar-mirror-mechs/

Looks really nice! (I haven’t figured out how it works though, so maybe someone can post a little tutorial or something)

Added 4 other decks there too (https://duelspot.com/decks/). Leaning bit to the more expensive side, but what can I say I love my silly memes :stuck_out_tongue:

In the FAQ, chuyqwerty links to this example deck which shows how the formatting options work. It’s easy, as it comes down to just choosing styles out of the dropdown menu. If you know html, you can do some fancier stuff.

There are some German sayings going like

“Who is able to read has an advantage.”

or

“Reading needs to be learned.”

Both can be applied to me, because I read the FAQ before and should have seen that :stuck_out_tongue:

I finally crafted 2 Calculators and 3 Rawrs to try your Racachaka deck, @miguelosz.

What do you think of(separately):

  1. Cass over Lil
  2. Ghoulie over Mantella

?

EDIT. Playing it as is - and it’s awesome! Now I see why you love it so much

I’ve only tried calculator songhai (and failed miserably), but in my opinion:

  1. Lil is way better than cass, because the backup plan is chakram.
  2. Ghoulie’s a good choice, but not an exact replacement for mantella. Mantella helps with card draw.

Is this the topic for Abyssmal decks? Here’s a silly thing I put together after having a dream.
Works perfectly well against the bottom-dwelling lower ladder lifeforms such as myself.

The concept is simple, you place Ranged snot throwers in places that are hard to reach and. buff. them.
Also a swarm.

This is pretty much the Abyssian thread. We sort of ‘borrowed’ Miguel’s space .

Try to fit some DFC if you have it. Range guy growing big rapidly is scary .

Why on earth would you run marauder in Lilithe? REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Yep, it’s super awesome! Lili is much better indeed, due to Chakram. I haven’t tested Ghoulie yet, but I think I’ll use him in the future in place of Mantella. The draw isn’t a big thing since usually you’ll want to play out the pets eventually, and Mantella’s lowrolls such as Oni (lol) feel very bad.

This (Hai) is on my list of things to make soon :stuck_out_tongue: but I suck at playing Songhai, so we’ll see how it goes

Would you believe me if I said I’ve also had this exact idea before? Anyways, nice, memey execution!

For same kinds of reasons as you would run Decimus or golems in Cass  (not together tho!)

It’s not actually that bad really, I stole some wins because of a well-planned Marauder.

Since all the minions have very low health, Random teleports are really risky, so I’d replace
Chaos elemental with repulsor beast,
ghost lynx with phantasm/furiosa,
Shadow reflection with DFC.

Let me bump it for you. Gimme your Reliquarian/Cadence decks and thoughts on them (non-Aby Reliq decks, too). I’m too lazy to search and borderline lazy to build them myself, want some starting point.

This one’s pretty fun: Miguel's Abyss deck and discussion space

A broader tip is to use Grimes into Reliquarian, and memorize/keep easily accessible what all the faction relics do
