Maybe a Trial and Destiny Rework or/and Nerfs?

I couldn’t disagree more, while it creates card advantage all of the mythron rares are cards that are understated (except strategos and hate) so they are a liability to summon but you have to summon them.

All though I’m having problems with brome myself and think it should be nerfed, when I’m tilted I’m having no problem with it, because there is a lot of strong AoE in this game.

Hate Furnace seems broken on paper but he is surprisingly bad. There is a bug with him where if a spell was casted which procs an effect that buffs attack it would count. If they exploit this bug its morally ok to reset bug them.

Abyssian, Songhai, Vanar and Neutral requires so much set up that their powerfull effects are somewhat underwhelming.

Vet is really high rolly, requiring you to open the right cards.

And to close this off it always is correct to run mythrons as you’re running less cards in your deck.

There is an easy fix:
Magmar: have 5 buffed minions on the battlefield.
Abyssian: sacrifice 5 minion in the same turn
Vet: Run to the opponent’s last row and then back
Lyonar: have 10 minions with 1 or less power on the battlefield
Songhai: play 6 minions with differnent mana costs
Vanar: summon 6 minions with mana cost 6 or higher
Neutral: give +1+1 to all minions and - 1 mana cost to all spells and artifacts.

Unless you’re allowing death by any means instead of sacrifice effects, this is essentially impossible outside of using Blood Echoes. Even then, in a Lilithe swarm deck this might be too easy to do.

First, with lynonar trial and destiny, the only consistent AoE in this game is magmar. Other decks could have a harder time dealing with it. Second even if you have the AoE, the fact that they have trinity oath and fealty, its so easy to respam the board. Trust me I had 2 plasma storms and rebukes that clears the board and I still lost because of the constant respam. I can say this going against and playing this deck.
Second, it seems like the vindicator bbs combo still works and maybe they need to look into it more further.
Third, there is an underlord turbo deck that summons him rather quickly. It’s not really slow at all.
Fourth, the neutral one is super easy to set up and can be consistent if building the right deck.

Ok, I went too far on this one. Somehow I think that Abyssian is the fairest of the bunch as it diminishes either its board or its health.

The times I have gone against brome and I wasnt on tilt this happened.

Vanar 1: Frost burn then out tempoed while controlling.
Vanar 2: Jax Truesight controlling the board.
Vetruvian: Sajj going ultra instinct answering everything with blast and frenzy.

Abyssian is the only faction that should struggle against brome.

hate furnance isnt fun. starless isnt fun. nemeton and ox i like, but theyre excessive next to strategos, hatefurnace and Starless. strategos would be fair at 2 minions with 1 attack, 6 seperate turns. xuul is most balanced trial eventough the destiny is incredibly excess and unanswerable.

mythrons are literally so excessive that mnemovore and worldcore golem got released.

Destiny ultimately is a bad mechanic in my eyes, but fast gameplay ftw.

Having the card in your hand is actually a disadvantage, as your epic essentially playing with a hand size of 5 until you can play your destiny.

Besides, the only Mythron that I could see being busted right now is Strategos, none of the others seem that competitive except for Vet and possibly Vanar. Abyssian and Magmar’s are borderline unplayable

You can’t be serious here. That would make Strategos the weakest card in all of Duelyst. Such a card design contradicts itself in a sense where completing the Trial would make the Destiny even more inconsistent.

My suggestion is to make the Promotion “intensify” in a way. It will only Promote 2 random minions the first turn it’s summoned, then 4, then 6, and so on. If by any chance that would make Strategos too weak, then we can make Promotions give small stat buffs, like a +1/+1.

The Magmar one is impossible in any real game.
Abyssian is either easy if you mean die, if you mean by spells you can do that simply with a lot of Wraithlings and blood Echoes.
Vet is a complete and utter pain in the arse. It’s going to take forever to finish.
If you have 10 minions as Lynor you probably are winning really hard to the point the game is over next turn.
Songhai is significantly easier.
Vanar is just weird. the condition works really poorly with the destiny unless they’re all Jax and Embla.
I think the Neutral needs more experimentation. Not sure if it needs the buff.

Nah, standard ramp list would shit out the mythron but your oppenent is already dead by 6.

Answer me this, how many times has hate furnace hit the board against you? For me, my opponentis long dead before the furnace drops(because beastclad hunter is op af and so is krater+amp)

The one where the trail is triggered by Redsteel minos + bbs, Lady Locke +BBS/minions, Thrax, vindicator + spikes etc etc.

Thank you. This is what I am talking about. Idk why people tried to underestimate certain trial/destiny cards. There are cards that indirectly fulfill the conditions hence making them a lot better than what it is intended.

In his defense those cards aren’t the intended to work with trial like that those are unintended side effects of programming or a bug. You can’t count what is happening as normal.One two things are going to happen

  • They fix and it goes back having to play 9 to 12 awkward Magmar buffs in your deck to complete this trial

  • They leave it as is but they up the amount buffs to complete the trial.

When in the first couple days when people didn’t realize that other things where trigger the trial it wasn’t being finished by T2 or T3 using just buff spells.
